I kept remembering Kaworu saying 'I really was born to meet you.' & Shinji admitting 'I loved him.' to Misato. This made me think, imagine Shinji being reborn, getting flashes of his past lives as an EVA pilot and taking up dance to fight against the darkness he remembers. He'd meet Kaworu in this life after waiting for him, Kaworu would be drawn to him just like he was in their previous lives and maybe they could get the ending they deserved. Maybe, just this once, everyone could survive.
Love this song so much, love the wonderful interpretation of the 沉沉's emotional expression, causes those two match the each other so much that they looks pretty sad and gloomy. No language can describe their's encounter, and the moment of glow, pass by another thousands of years ridiculous. Love rasie pain, and pain is the cacoon of love. The knowledge of dancing and animation needed to make such a beautiful video... And it must have taken so much effort too. I'm truly impressed. I especially love the parts where he deconstructs, it's not something you can see in real life dancing
I imagine this as grown up Shinji, where he has finally found a healthy outlet for his emotions. A way to cope with all he's been through.. Who knew he'd become a ballet danseur? Holy FUCKING SHIT that was amazing!! It had such fluidity, such raw emotion just in the movements, yet also perfectly on the facial expressions. It felt handheld, edited gorgeously. And the actual dance? Also amazing, on top of everything. I was even in awe at the shadow lines. You had time for shadows!?! Just amazing!
