Skipping kinda ruins the point of the video imo.
Yeah but if you Skip the Kripp your chances of getting legendaries on packs are increased; it has been scientifically proved.

force of nature savage roar is really really easy to nerf. all you have to do is change savage roar from friendly characters to just friendly minions. taking the 2 dmg away from your hero would make that combo considerably less insta-kill considering its maximum dmg potential would become 12, and not to mention the fact that the 2 dmg the hero swings in for is often enough to knock out a small taunt letting the other 12 dmg thru.

i completely agree. fon+savage roar is actually reason why druid never receives anything good; savage roar already punishes enemy so hard that even slightest buff for druid would make it broken
this nerf is unnecesary , I prefer the dr boom nerf
Jyro my comment was in reference to kripp talking about nerfing the druid combo. there are plenty of other cards that are much more over powered that should be nerfed first.
MoronicChunk1 I think druid needs to be buffed atm to be honest. It's pretty bad in the meta right now and it really didn't get many cards to help

The thought steal at the end was a blast to the face.
Been playing this guy in a Malygos rogue, and he actually makes the deck much more consistent. You become a lot less dependant on drawing a conceal if you cast him with sinister strike and eviscerate or blade flurry in your hand, for example.
does gazlowe works with spells reduced by thaurissan?

I play this in my murloc warlock deck. When you get the card early, just fill up your hand and play him at 6. Then at 7 you fill the board with murlocs and give them +2 health and +2/+1 etc., until you have a board filled with 6 or 7 murlocs with great stats.

Hey guys i have a quick question and would appreciate any feedback. I have 700 gold, should i buy the first wing of this expansion for this card (it looks like its a very good card) or should i get myself 7 card packs?

I run mainly a tempo ish Mage deck with a hella strong late game. I use loatheb over emperor because mid game is where my deck swings and I need to slow down the enemy board clear

Thaurissan is OP, It's Sylvanas from the classic set, The lotheb from Naxx and Dr Boom from GvG.
This helps a lot with Force Roar druid

Why are so many people running Senjin Shieldmasta recently? I've been seeing a lot of them lately. Is it something against face hunters? Or again some of the new cards?
Is it good in mech mage?
Basically, he's pretty good in decks that will have 3+ cards in hand, or at *least* 2 cards in hand when they play him. Discounting at least 2 cards will make up for his not-ideal 6 mana stats, whereas discounting 3+ makes him a pretty strong play.
I put him into my midrange shaman deck, and the cost reduction has come in handy numerous times. In particular, enabling a few unusual plays on turn 7 - like Lightning Storm + Fire Elemental, or Dr Boom + Crackle, or Sneed's. The card isn't even close to being OP, IMO, but it's pretty decent at this point. Not an auto-include, but a very strong effect.
I don't play rogue much, but at some point soon I look forward to messing around with him, Conceal and/or Master of Disguise. Faceless Manip, Gadgetzan Auctioneer... nom nom.

I think one of the coolest things about Thaurissan is the fact that it has the potential create brand new, ad hoc combos from cards that normally just don't combo; your non-combo deck could suddenly develop a 10 mana combo that would normally cost 18 mana and absolutely wrecks the other guy. No body would have thought of it before because it was impossible and intuitive without Thaurissan's meddling. Arena decks could also bring about some hilarious, impossible combos considering that games tend to last longer and minions tend to stay on the board longer.
Would you say Sylvanas is better than Thaurissan in a demon midrange warlock?

I find that the power of Emp is less about what he actually allows you to do, but more about causing your opp/ to remove him what ever the cost - even if it means awkward trades!

KRIPP! Do you think this card can save miracle rogue? Like there is so much draws on this deck that it wouldn't be that hard like after having drawn most of the deck Leeroy in hand and make him 4 mana to remake that crazy combo 18 dmg,+ even without leeroy in hand you could have an auctioneer who would recost 5mana,and if you have both leeroy and auctioneer it would be Miracle Rogue again,but maybe,because you would need to wait turn 6 to do Thaurrissan,it could be too slow so I would like to see you try to play it! But do what you want it would still be cool,it's just an idea like that;)

I feel like if anything was to happen to Thaurissan it would be to change his activation from end of turn to beginning of turn, but then again that might allready total ruin him. On the other hand it would make him more interresting to play since you have to try and build a situation where he *can* survive a turn.

Both of you, no. The card is completely balanced, why would you even mention nerfing it? If it got nerfed nobody would play it.

I wasn't saying that it needed a nerf, I was only humoring Kripps point and thinking about a "what if" cenario.
You can get a 48 damage combo with warlock. 1x Arcane Golem=2 mana, 2x power overwhelming=0 mana, 2x abusive sergeant=0 mana, 2x Faceless=8 mana. 2+0+0+8=10
this guy could revive miracle rougue i think, conceal him, etc and keep him stealth so he does not die and then you can do your good old combos even after the cost increase in leeroy and auctioneer
Have you seen the mill priest? It doesn't mill the opponent, but rather itself. It has all OP high cost minions and revives a discarded minion.
What's the point of having a 0 mana Dr. Boom if you're gonna float 8 mana?

I have played Emperor in arena. I had priest with double thoughtsteal and it went pretty well. Not insane but decent.

I've ben using this in a murloc deck for good use.
It's good in some constructed decks, mediocre in others. The main thing for me though is that it makes cheesy combo decks slightly easier to pull off, which is a good thing. They'll never be viable, but they are fun as hell to try.

should that negative 4 card cost be a bug? i mean the card states it's 0, not negative 4, not giving mana back or anything, so shouldn't loatheb make it cost 5? i understand yes it's because it's reduced by thaurissan, but shouldn't it be like reduce cost of card by 1 but not lower than 0?
well yes that's the logic behind it which i agree upon, but like i asked, shouldn't this be considered a bug? i mean u can duplicate a demon portal, but like it states minions can not cost less than 1, should this change not be implemented for emperor tharussan as well so cards can not cost less than 0?
Tronarul No. It's completely balanced and i think more a cool feature than a problem.
i don't see it as a problem, just a bug, because basically it kinda makes loathed nullified at times and i don't want loatheb to become unplayable because of this
Tronarul He won't though. The situation where this happens would basically mean you already lost, loatheb or not.

A bug is something unintended that happens in the game.
The way the game is coded, this is completely intended. The only reason we didn't see this effect in the past is that all effects we used to have that reduced mana cost below 0 were constant effects, which would also take place AFTER loatheb was played.
Am I the only one that feels like Thaurissan is somewhat related in its design to Loatheb? Thaurissan allows combo decks to do the combo a few turns earlier, Loatheb is there to make certain decks be able to stall off combos for a precious turn, having pretty much the opposite effect, and they're both 5/5's.
This card can single-handedly bring back the Leeroy-Shadowstep-Cold Blood Combo. It takes exactly 10 mana if you have all of the cards in hand when you play the Emperor

the first time i ried it was with priest, he was actually the first minion i mahaged to drop (and was the thoughtstealed version of my oponent) he killed him i topd decked him and used 2 ressurects ( i had coin) for 3 thaurissons in play, my 5 mana ysera was never played as my oponent insta conceded

My friend got this guy in arena 2 times from frost elemental with recombobulator, he won both of those matches pretty quick after that :)

Personally, I think this guy has vastly improved my handlock deck. Being able to squeeze in shadow flame on a minion at an earlier turn, or even play The J-man with another card on a single turn (or be able to cast his hero power) is absolutely ridiculous. Often times, you'll find yourself sad because you lacked that one or two mana to pull off a game saving shadow flame or to be able to cast a taunt minion, and guess what? ET has allowed me to pull this off in many games where I would've undoubtably lost. Remember how weak hard casting Jaraxxus was? When you play him and then use his hero power on the same turn, you pretty much just win right there. Turn 8 Slyvanas shadow flame is an all together different beast of a combo.

Just opened 4 packs and got King Crush and sylvanas :3 Sold Krush and bought Dr. Balanced and made a mid druid all bursting deck with thaurissan

It has an awesome effect and could potentially be ridicolous. But fuck these stupid cancer rush decks. Mech mages, aids hunters and bring on a more controlly side to HS!! YES I'M SALTY I JUST LOST LIKE 10 GAMES IN A ROW DUE TO POOR DRAWING AND THE OPPONENT HAVING THE BEST OPENINGS!!!
most ridiculous thing ever: golden hunter with full golden deck and blackrock pre-order card back. i understand that for beginners that might really be only way to fight against more experienxed players, but why would anyone lower themselves so low if they have already spent countless hours and money on this game... and I've seen those kind of players way too often. that's just sad

As a person who mainly plays priest, handlock and paladin I'm loving this little fucker. Any extra mana saved is huge. Yeah he's not doctor boom doing 10-15 damage, but he's effective as fuck.
