It's so hard when they get spayed because you can't explain it to them. You know they are in pain and don't know why. Poor Java. 😥 But of course it's the right thing to do.

My pit bull loved chewing on wood so much. He would tear the bark off our trees thinking that if he did the squirrels would come down, he also would eat our deck which was not good, but he was truly one of the best dogs I have ever had. It’s so sad the rep they get because they really are super sweet.

Awe, I remember when I got my baby spayed about 6 months ago and it was so sad to see her go through pain. We have a high bed so I slept on the floor with her so that I wouldn’t have to fear her jumping off the bed at night or something. She was so tired from the medication and pain for the first 2 days but she was back to her normal self. ❤️ YOU GOT THIS JAVA!❤️
Elisha Coombes we recently lost a dog due to something called pyometra, which is an infection that occurs in the uterus and can be life threatening. After losing her so soon we didn’t want to take the chances of losing this one so fast so we chose to have her do the procedure. I understand some might now be okay w it but we are the ones taking care of her so we made the decision for the better of her.
When my boxer got fixed I cried I felt so bad for her. She was whimpering like java and I layed with her on the floor as well. So sad but it was best for her and she healed very quickly.
@@tiff2361 I agree with you that it can be safer for certain dogs to be spayed. I have a white boxer who already has health issues and didnt want to chance her ever having a high risk pregnancy or birth which is common for boxers. Just made more sense to get her fixed.
Hey, love you guys very much! Just a tip as I used to let my pups ride in the front seat aswell, incase of an accident which could easily be caused by another knob on the road, its best to put them in the back with a harness (dog seatbelt) because its so easy for their little bodies to be flung into the windshield or if you get hit side on theres a higher chance of them dying. I'm waiting for it to become a law in Australia as there's so many crashes and so many dogs without a seatbelt or with their little heads out the car (oh how I know they love it) it just wont be as fun if you have a knob crash into you 😁 your fur baby is adorable and so are you guys. Because Java can hear, maybe you should train her to come with a dog whistle. That way Ryan can still call her with noise (that only dogs can hear) if he feels uncomfortable yelling

My pitty loves chewing on wood too!! I found java wood (funny that your pitty's named Java!) it's a wood that does not splinter so it's safe for them to chew. My pitty loves it, he didn't know what to do with it at first but he caught on quick!
I grew up with Persimmons. You should put them in a brown paper bag until they are ripe. Those were not ripe. Ripe Persimmons are REALLY SWEET AND SOFT LIKE RIPE TOMATOES. Also, they are sticky and gluey. But delicious. Try waiting until they are ripe. They taste better.
My rescue is being neutered tomorrow then I get to pick them (rescued a bonded pair the female was spayed long ago but male was never neutered) up and finally bring them home 👋👋👋
BTW, when A PUPPY licks their mom's mouth, it's to beg for food. She licks your mouth asking to be fed. Puppy talk. I to the party pit bull. She looks so strong. Do you bring water for her after, when she runs?

I don't mean to sound rude, I don't want to judge, but how old was Java when she got spayed? Her baby teeth were falling out, so I guess like 6 months? If so, that is WAY too early to get her spayed. She didn't have time to mature....
I love persimmons. First time I had them is when I lived in Japan. I have a question. If Ryan is right handed why does he use his left hand to sign sometimes? Does it matter? I'm getting to be hard of hearing and having to wear hearing aids right now, but would love to learn ASL. I'm also left handed and wondered if I should learn using my right or left. I have learned the alphabet and will usually use my right for that. I would love to live in California myself as I would probably be a lot happier and like you said in an earlier video, people are more aware of the deaf community. It seems to me that the deaf are better communicators than the hearing. I get so tired of people speaking away from my face or mumbling in general.
Great question, i just naturally can switch dominant hands based on what i'm doing! you should definitely start with your left hand so you can learn the foundations and then after you feel more confident, you can try your right hand as the dominant one!

I cut persimmons the way you would cut an apple, first cut in quarters and then use a knife for the skin - might be easier than using a peeler :)
