I'm always confused by that too. It was clear that it was never intended as an apology. She has done loads of things that are deserving of severe criticism, but criticising her for a bad 'apology' video, that was clearly never intended as an apology seems weird to me.
It would be like an olympic long jumper messing up their jump and only going a couple of feet, then everyone complaining that they didn't jump as high as they could in the air

Her PR team has come out to say that it wasn't her or her team. No it's not really confirmed she put it out herself on streaming platforms.
It's also not confirmed that she didn't copyright it. It doesn't really matter.
Either way, one thing is very clear and that is Colleen is a vicious, spiteful hag who should have no access to children on the internet. Why RUclips is allowing her to stay monetized is pretty mind blowing but also on par for their inconsistencies when it comes to their moneymaking predators.

This is one of those things where if it walks like a duck, it is a duck. At best, this was gr**ming. At worst, well.
It wasn’t an apology video. She doesn’t apologize at all. She mentions accountability, but never exhibits it. She just calls her accusers liars, toxic, and gossips.
I keep seeing a lot of confusion on the term 'grooming', so I feel like it's important to remember that it doesn't just mean an adult and minor and it isn't exclusively for sexual reasons. It's someone in a position of power over another person, which is often an adult and a minor but could be a boss and an employee, a professor and an adult student, a parent and a child, and so on. By grooming this person they have power (or a perceived authority) they're training someone to act in specific ways the groomer is aiming for. While this is often sexual, it isn't exclusively for sexual reasons and I think that's where people get confused on the term 'grooming'. For example; a cult leader grooms their followers into following their radicalized doctrines.
It also originally had and still does have a positive meaning such as mentor mentee or trainer trainee. Or even a family business such as heir being groomed to take over the family business.

Hmmm, just because Trisha has calmed down doesn't mean we should consider her as a good person. Anytime she's not menace of society, her redemption arc begins. She's not stupid, obviously she's capable of rational thinking. Thee accusations aimed at Colleen aren't nothing new, yet Trisha launched the podcast with her and now she talk as if she wasn't previously aware of Colleen's transgressions. Of course, she's victim of Colleen bullying and it seems this plus the popularity of the toxic gossip train made her speak up, not a genuine reflection. Her public persona was toxic not only to herself but other people. She basically accused an innocent, dead man of sa. I don't hate her and I know a lot of people who talk about her are fatphobic, criticize her xes work and try to humiliate her to feel better. She was never stupid. Her presenting an acceptable points doesn't mean she's suddenly a public persona who should be considered as reliable and relatable. Her lies are endless. As long as people want to watch her, she deserves a place online but we can't pretend all the crazy shit that hurt real people outside of youtube drama community has never happened.
I would agree, but it’s Trisha 😅 and it’s ONE video where she acts mature. So idk I’ll hold on to that for a bit. Hopefully she stays consistent. Because it’s not the first time she seems to be improving , usually she then goes back to her old ways 😬.

I love what trisha said and I think she handled everything well BUT this reminds me of the same thing with Shane, how she didn’t say anything until it affected(sp??) her. Because Colleen admitted in 2020 that she was talking to minors.
I'm skeptical of Trish's "redemption arc", even if she didn't deserve what happened to her. Trisha herself is an ADMITTED perpetrator of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and a holocaust denier. (iNabber and Ryan Beard have great videos on these topics). She's had "redemption arcs" before, only to go on to abuse again. We haven't heard much from her in the past few years because her channel is struggling. No one deserves what happened to her - but giving abusers second chances is generally a bad idea.

It is a BAD idea. An honest pe dough that has gone through tons of therapy and medication, jail time, etc, they will say, I am not safe to be around children. No one can fix them, just Jesus will, in time. They know what they think and feel. The thing Colleen sees in Trisha, is underlying SA or mole est ing. It is not a pass, but Colleen and her graphically inappropriate behavior screams I have seen things, and I have been touched. There r 3 ways a survivor can go. And Colleen and Trisha r between 1 and 2. They hate that that stuff happens, but they engage and get close to it. IE, dress, spicy content, pointing to genitals. The best thing is Colleen finally getting in trouble. She needs specific therapy.

I don’t think many people are excusing her. Think people are more praising her for being one of few (if the only one) close to colleen to speak up about the serious allegations. No one’s says Trish is a saint (because we all know she’s not) people are just focusing on this response from her rather then bring up things unrelated (to the current situation). Trish is a victim in this case and with enough evidence she could sue colleen for sending her only fans content to children and illegally distributing it elsewhere.
Like I said though this in no way excuses her past behaviour

Narcissists will groom anyone. They have no moral compass so even children are fair game to them. This is something I discovered when a sociopath in my family tried to groom my daughter. I had previously trusted him and then he did something and he thought I’d never find out it was him. But I did. Luckily he’s dead to me now.

I really hope for ONCE serious consequences come from this. It feels like all past RUclipsr problems that warranted apology videos just made them lose subscribers for a while but then went back up.
