In 1983 I was driving from San Diego on highway 8 to Arizona. It was late at night and I was around where the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park dips over Highway 8 and I saw a man hitchhiking with a creepy grin and very large pointy ears. I slowed down as I drove past to make sure it wasn't someone asking for help so I got a good look at him. I woke up the two other people in the car and told them about it and said I want to go back and they screamed no keep going so I did. I drove all the back to Phoenix that night so I wasn't tired and I am sure of what I saw in the middle of nowhere with no other cars around.
Thanks for checking out this video @Kawasaki750triple. That sounds like a pretty terrifying experience. We love hearing these stories and first hand accounts from out listeners.
The Giant Skeleton with a lantern reminds me of the Japanese Yokai Gashadokuro.
My brother and his friend have experienced the ghost lights out there. There is also the story of the Borrego Sandman. Ie. Sasquatch.
Freak I used to live in Salton city California a year ago and I had know idea that Anza Borrengo national park was haunted
