I went to see The Moody Blues at the Saddledom on 2002 or 2004, I was at the front, when Mr Hayward started to sing Tuesday Afternoon, and I started to cry 😢: Mr John Lodge saw 👀 and reached out to me, and said do not cry. I said "I Love your music 🎶 🎵 always and I Love the group too" He said: "I know" Then he said I Love you too, and held my hand. I was so emotional 😭 and so happy when I was at the concert in the Saddledom. God Bless 🙌 The Moody Blues always. I will treasured the memories forever. ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ Marta Rodriguez
Thank you, John Lodge! It must take some courage to release a staple of the Moodies' set list with a new arrangement fifty years after the world first fell in love with it. This version holds its own against the original and other live versions from across the decades. Yes, they are each different, which means listeners can take their pick depending on their mood! This song exemplifies the staying power of the Moodies' music by remaining relevant with its timeless message. Congrats on the live album, and thank you for giving us another tour!
Thank you John Lodge. This is a lovely song. My Dad used to play The Moody's on Vinyl & that's where I got my love for the songs from. This is the most beautiful song but very emotional too.Well done & keep on keeping on 🤗
@@mpatrickthomas It sure did he used to play Threshold of a dream On Vinyl which prompted me to buy a Moody Blues CD on Threshold Records & but Vinyl is better you as you do hear every little thing.
Will forever appreciate your music as well as all of The Moody Blues songs. Prayers for you and your family, John. Stay safe and filled with the Lord’s peace. ✝️💟
All you very good musicians playing and singing with gusto, very nice cello. In a few months Happy 50th Anniversary Seventh Sojourn and Isn't Life Strange. Thank you. 06:36 AEDT Wed.26.Jan.2022 Tasmania Australia. #TheMoodyBlues.
Such a beautiful video for a beautiful song. Thank you John! I spoke with Graeme back in the 90's and he informed me that in his opinion John Lodge's music is the music of the Moody Blues. The look on Graeme's face as he said this was one of pure love and admiration.
I hit the "Like" button even before I heard the first note because I knew it was going to be great. Of course, I have not been disappointed. What a beautiful addition to my library of great music from this man and his mates over all of the years. Thanks for this lovely version of your tremendous song.
"Isn't Life Strange" Isn't life strange A turn of the page Can read like before Can we ask for more? Each day passes by How hard man will try? The sea will not wait You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were, and here we are. Isn't love strange A word we arrange With no thought or care Maker of despair Each breath that we breathe With love we must weave To make us as one You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were, and here we are. Isn't life strange A turn of the page A book without light Unless with love we write; To throw it away To lose just a day The quicksand of time You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were:

I miss the moody blues. Although you are excellent
Nice! I love Lodge but honestly don't care for loud bombastic amplification anymore, preferring now the Hayward-esqe quieter arrangements.
"Isn't Life Strange"
Isn't life strange
A turn of the page
Can read like before
Can we ask for more?
Each day passes by
How hard man will try?
The sea will not wait
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -
Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back there you were, and here we are.
Isn't love strange
A word we arrange
With no thought or care
Maker of despair
Each breath that we breathe
With love we must weave
To make us as one
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -
Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back there you were, and here we are.
Isn't life strange
A turn of the page
A book without light
Unless with love we write;
To throw it away
To lose just a day
The quicksand of time
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -
Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back there you were:
Damn, bring back the melotron. The orchestra is way too loud.
The CD is great .But you would think that his Stylist would. do better with the hair pieces it looks too obvious that he is wearing one
