40% range decrease is way more than I expected. Did you cold start the bicycle, or was it warmed up before taking the bicycle outside?
That's a good question. The bike was in the warm at the beginning. And when I think back on it, the battery held quite well at the beginning. But in the end, each battery bar dropped faster than the previous one.
batteri is relatively unprotected from cold so that adds to the decrease also
As expected. My camera's battery life drops significantly in the cold. Tape on hand warmers.
Wow, great advice. The battery of my Gopro also died several times and had to use many batteries.
And I should have used those hand warmers inside my gloves as well :D My hands literally froze during the test.

Why does my ebike throttle cut off but screen stays on never did this before until I left bike outside for many hours in cold it cuts off slightly but regains and doesn't push more than 30kmh and the reading on computer is all wrong is that because of cold cold weather?
Yes, it most probably is because of the cold weather. I haven't experienced exactly what you described, but it makes sense.
