I love it! Anything dragonfly, butterfly, hummingbird, lady bug, caterpiller, anything like that LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have to have it hanging from or climbing up my tree! lol And I love that wooden piece, you can do so much. One big caterpillar, or cut several for bugs, and small ones for lady bugs.....oh man love it! Just add wire feet and antenna, paint black, weather seal it... Love it...awesome!
+Sandra Walker Thank you Sandra! Cute idea for the caterpillar!
I LOVE DRAGONFLYS!! This was simply marvelous, fairly easy to do and magical! Gotta do this too! Thanks for sharing!
So very pretty. Three or four made different colours would look lovely on a wall in my garden.
+Cheryl Pentz That would be very pretty!!

Good morning Mona! I love the dragonfly, I've been thinking of different ways to do the wings for a long time and thanks to you now I know! Thank you and have a great day.
+Rhonda Escue Thank you Rhonda! I've been thinking about it for a long time too!! Someone recently mentioned to me that you can use Silly Putty as a mold and resin won't stick. I thought that was crazy, but tracked down some Silly Putty (turns out in the craft section of Walmart, not the toy section) and sure enough it works! I was thinking of trying some wings that way too! You have a wonderful day!
I love dragon flies and butterflies
I loved this so much, it turned out really beautiful. I definitely agree, let it fly from your ceiling. please make more things like the wings, that was awesome how you did those.
+Christi Hicks Thanks Christi! I want to do more wings!!
This idea was so interesting using the resin over the tissue paper. I was just watching today's coaster video and happen to see this one on the side. I can't believe I missed my email for it. Loved it!

+Kathryn Jackson I don't think so either!
Love this project!
+334bamagirl Thank you!
Awesome project once again! I have been collecting ceiling fan blades to use as wings on a wooden spindle to make dragonflies, but I like your idea for the wings too! I think I will use the fan blades for the outdoor dragonflies and the wire and tissue paper wings for any indoor ones. Great idea Mona! I always get excited on Monday and Friday mornings when you post your videos!
+Dawn Wallace I have been thinking about doing that to Dawn! I love the ceiling fan dragonflies! I thought this would be a fun way to try the wings for a more translucent look. Thank you for always watching Dawn!
Oh Wow, I love it! You are amazing, thank you for showing how to make it, it's so pretty.

Thank you!
this is so pretty. I wish I had somewhere to put some. could probably go smaller with them too 😁
+Meaghanne Mack I thing you could easily go smaller. You can attach them to the ceiling in your house, then they won't take up any wall space!! ;)
This is so awesome I am gonna have to make one for my mom
+Tina Day Thanks Tina!
Amazing video great job keep up the great work...! 😊
+JessicaTheBunnyPanda ! Thank you!

+Sara Twycross Thank you Sara! Hugs right back!
I LOVE IT ♥♥
Very nice!
+Patricia DelMercado Thanks Patricia!
That is brilliant, I wonder if you could make a butterfly with the same method, I was thinking the wings may be to heavy. The wings remind me of the capiz shell (windowpane oyster) that is used for like chandeliers and suncatchers, just awesome! It is really beautiful, I love the wings.
+Misty Foster Thanks Misty! I was thinking a butterfly would be fun, so I just might!!
amazing
+L Angel Thank you!
I saw something similar using a spindle for the body and four blades from an old ceiling fan for the wings.
+animalrescuegeek I've seen those too. They are super cute!

+Jeanne Hinrichs You just never know how it is all going to come together!! :)
I love this is it OK to use pva glue on wings
+Elaine Hale Thanks Elaine! I'm not sure what PVA glue is.
Hi Mona, I was wondering if you've considered trying to color your shape-crete with pigments? I'd like to she what you come up with? Love watching your creativity!
+ames0211 I did try coloring it on the base of the mermaid light. I mixed a bunch in, but it didn't show up, that's why I ended up brushing it on top. I wonder if maybe a fabric dye would work. I have some pigment made to color the Shapecrete, but I think I would like some more fun colors.
OMG Love your channel! (new subbie) I am hooked on your channel.
+Nail Art Queen Welcome! I'm glad you found me!
woah, so cool :o
+AkumaNoRobin Thank you!
kool
+candysmiles11 Thank you!
you know you could but a hole in the under neath side and put it on a rod and poke it into the ground as if it's flying, anyway I absolutely love this, it's so neat, tfs
+Lala Hastings That's a great idea Lala! I hadn't thought about putting it on a rod!
It there a way you can make smaller version .. like a pendant. ?
You could do something similar with beads and then add little wings. That could be pretty small for a pendant.
Sometime could you show how to do pressed flowers like lilacs and dandelions and what to use the dried flowers in - like a resin wall hanging or some such thing?
+purr bugaloo I will see if I can work that in sometime in the future.
Craftklatch you should do a horse resin coaster. Like a black and white horse. Please!!
+MJ Hamster Thanks for the idea. You have to add the ideas to the most recent coaster video and then they will be added to the fishbowl.
Can you make the Kentucky logo coaster
+Chandlar Ramey Thanks for the suggestion! You need to add it to the most recent coaster video.
love that idea.
I was wondering, could you do a spider, some way like that?
+serrot spikester I have done a couple of different spiders. What are you thinking along these lines?
CraftKlatch what I was thinking like almost like the dragonfly, but have a big wooden ball for the body and a small wooden ball for the head, the what you use for the wing, use that for the leg and make it look hairy like most spider leg look like.
+serrot spikester Interesting idea. I will keep it in mind!
CraftKlatch cool
That is so cute! How did you end up hanging it? I think either would work. You can even hang it at an angle! 😀
+Courtney Reese Thank you Courtney! I haven't hung it yet. Someone suggested drilling a hole in the bottom and putting it on a rod, to stick in the ground. I thought that was a great idea too!
+CraftKlatch That's an awesome idea! It would be perfect for a garden! 🍃
👍🏿⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
+designsbyjenean Thank you!
i would put it in the garden
+Andi_IM55SOS I think it would look nice there!

The eyes are so pretty!
+Zoey Kiss Thank you!
