Just darling! Have you ever tried mixing resin and pouring it into a squeeze bottle to pour into molds that have smaller spaces? Seems like you'd have more control of it, if you did! Curious! Thank you so much for all of your videos! I always look forward to them!

wow I love it...can't wait to start a project this weekend!...are you mixing resin with acrylic pain, and what brand would you suggest for the resin?
+Donna Langford I use Easy Cast. I am actually using resin pigments from Resin Obsession for this one. I have them linked in the description. You can also use pigment powders.

adorable! I've been trying the clear cast reasin but mine never turned out both times it was sticky and never set
Make sure to mix both parts of your resin up very well and maybe try pouring them out in a plastic cup and put that plastic cup into a little bit of warm watering another container. I mix mine for a good few minutes maybe 2-3 in warm water like I said.

+Tracia Harris I'm not sure what the Clear Cast resin is. Is that the polyester resin? I haven't worked with that. It has such a strong odor. I'm glad you like the owl!

what you could have done with the ridges on the owls chest is waited til it all cured and then went back and fill those in the color of resin of your choice :)
+Meaghanne Mack You know Meaghanne, I thought about that just the other day. I thought I could do that around the eyes too. Sometimes it is hard to visualize it until after. Thanks for the suggestion! Glad we are on the same wavelength!
+CraftKlatch I started resin after only watching tutorials and made lots of "interesting mistakes" lol my first mold had texture so I had to learn to reverse pour from day one lol glad we are on the same wavelength 😁
He is cute. Can you paintontheoutside of the resin, if you wanted to paint the legs brown? Do you treat those molds irst with any release agent? Dee
+DeeLightful Co Thank you Dee! Yes you can paint on the resin after, but you would be best off to use the multi-surface paint. I don't use the mold release and have only had a problem once.
