I did a collab with a fellow resin crafter, Mona from Craftklatch where we both made a resin clock! Enjoy!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Resin is considered a hazardous material and needs absolute proper care when handling it. It is NOT intended for children. Please ALWAYS use resin with proper precautions including wearing proper PPEs (glove, mask, respirator etc) AND working in a well ventilated space. I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care.
Some important tips regarding this project:
It is important to make the base in multiple thin layers rather than just making this with one layer of resin. With multiple THIN layers, you have better control over the bubbles since they can rise to the surface much easier than in a layer of thicker resin.

The clock assembly was purchase from twww.klockit.com, MAKE SURE TO BUY AN ASSEMBLY THAT WILL ACCOMMODATE THE THICKNESS OF YOUR CLOCK DIAL. MINE WAS A MAX DIAL THICKNESS OF 3/4 INCH

That clock is the most colorful and exiting piece I have ever seen. Perfect like always.
This would be even more awesome if you lined up round candies or gum drops for the time notches

This is so gorgeous! I love everything rainbows but unfortunately my bedroom is pink and vintage. Maybe I could do this with old pearl necklaces and lace etc?

+Elizabeth Wilson yes I did and I was very pleased with the results. I have made 3 like this now. It was quite a learning curve getting used to working with the resin, but the clocks were well received by my friends who I made them for.

This looks like such a cool project :) I'd be tempted to use polyurethane resin rather than epoxy for this as it is a bit cheaper here in the UK, and harder too. But it smells so bad! I don't think I am brave enough with a drill to try a clock tho.

Okay, so it's BEAUTIFUL but- if you used BRIGHT (or glow) white paint (about 3 layers or so) for the numbers, it would be even more useful!! :)
