Southwest is certainly a nice river. I've not had the honour of fishing it yet but hope to fish some of the west coast rivers soon. A dandy salmon for you on a beautiful day. Love the videos. Thanks for sharing this trip with us.
Hi Bob! There where you first started fishing, what an absolute beautiful spot. It all was nice but that one spot would have been a good spot to camp out. Great fish. Be so tasty done in the smoker.
Congratulations Bob on reaching 10,000 subscribers! We just love your videos, we wish you could publish one each week, every two weeks seems so far apart:o))) Weekly or by-weekly, Thank You for sharing your outside experiences with us all.
Very enjoyable video. You did a good job filming alone, threw in some cool shots like the underwater/looking up, a nice grouse, and congrats on the fish. When it’s warm and water is low, do you ever fish the deep pools with weighted or unweighted nymph flies? They get down to the fish, and put it on their noses. And good luck with the fires. Even David Suzuki did a show on how we’ve "protected" the forests too much, and built an eco system that is a fuel bundle, and now the fires can get so bad we have to fight them. It’s a catch 22 now. We should let nature take its course, but it’s not natural and can destroy towns, so we have to keep doing it. Anyway, forests evolved to deal with fires, so it’ll sort itself out eventually.
Looked like a great day fishing, been listening to the news on the fires out your way, hope things settle down for you all. Thanks for sharing your day Bob. Nice that you had no camp Reno’s to do, but I do enjoy watching the camp Reno’s and how the camp is coming along.
I watch your videos every time and I really enjoy discovering the nature of your beautiful province. I know you won't like it but when you caught the salmon I was convinced you were going to do a catch and release. Atlantic salmon don't have it easy and you have access to so many trout. You were entitled, that is not the question. Anyway !
Awesome. Great camera shots, especially the "salmon's point of view" of the fly dragging across the waters surface. A lovely grilse to complete the day. 👍👍
Nice that your taking a break from the chores to go salmon fish in this beautiful spot . Nice salmon you caught . Thanks for sharing enjoyed as always.
