Jesus also said here openly that he was the Messiah… Jhn 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jhn 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
As the Scripture says KNOWLEDGE PUFFS UP...or makes one proud... but also says HE HAS SHOWN THEE O MAN, WHAT IS GOOD, AND WHAT DOTH THE LORD REQUIRE OF THEE... BUT TO DO JUSTLY... AND LOVE MERCY... We would do well to pray for this son of Abraham, that his eyes would be opened as his brothers were so long ago, and to believe and accept their testimony... especially that of the learned Saul of Tarsus, who had thought to wreck and stomp out the Jewish heresy known as The Way....Jesus confronted him on that road to Damascus, changing his life and destiny...receiving The Gift of The Holy Spirit, which had been poured down in Jerusalem at Pentecost, he went out proclaiming the Good News! This outpouring continues today, touching and changing the lives of people everywhere, who truly believe, by repenting and turning to the Lord God of Israel ...yes, even the GENTILES, have seen A Great Light, the light of a Son, given -as Isaiah so wonderfully described in chapter 9 but tragedly depicted in Chapter 53...A man of sorrow, who took our grief, Who was rich but became poor, for our sakes...The Word (Who was God) was made flesh...He came personally, Emmanuel, through His Son, to redeem us from this fallen world and give us everlasting life! Selah...and Hallelujah!
Jesus came to realize the law of Moses: to die because he claimed to be the messiah. Moses knew he would come, and that is why he made the law. He killed the messiah purposely.
This is the verse that came to mind from your comment: "And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered before the world was made." (Revelation 13:8, NLT.) You are right in the sense the Jesus' death on the cross was planned even before God created the world. God knew we would sin and that we would need salvation. So Jesus stepped forward and offered to die for us.
There are TWO "Messiahs".......also called the "two witnesses" in Revelation . But it is ONE man......the coming "son of man"....also called the "Lamb" in Revelation . Singer is in error......and so are YOU .

Yes and Amen. Maybe we could fast and pray every Friday for the salvation of the Jewish people.
