- Ohio metallic punks Beartooth came to Kerrang!’s favourite dive bar with one thing in mind - to unleash absolute chaos. Playing Blondies in London to just 50 of their biggest fans, Caleb Shomo and co. blasted through a hectic 30-minutes of aggression, getting up close and personal in The K! Pit.
With Caleb ditching the mic stand to get in the thick of it at the beginning to guitarist Kamron Bradbury crowdsurfing around the bar at the climax, this is sure to go down as one of those I Was There gigs.
Picking songs from all three albums, there’s not one second of downtime, as bodies are hurled around the room, diving off the bar to get even closer to the action.

@@loberg65 when you look at people like Sam Carter for instance it just proves that's not true, correct technique and practice is what separates them, Sam has way harder songs and is constantly spot on, you just get the feeling from Caleb that he doesn't put as much effort in, that's all. I know obviously our opinions mean nothing but there is a point there

I kinda slept on metalcore/post-hardcore scene for last 2 years, and I need to say 'wow!', I've never heard Caleb scream this good live. Looking forward to new Beartooth tunes

Just when you think Caleb Shomo can't get any cooler... the dude gets behind the drums, damn.
Caleb is actually the only person who performs on Disgusting, he plays every instrument. Most of it was recorded at stupid hours at the studio in his house when he couldn't sleep. Dude is an insane talent.

Never listen to Beartooth till today, but it seems to me, it's a very very VERY good band.
Caleb changed a lot, but he's still one of my favorite singers/screamers.

Just recently got into Beartooth this lockdown and this is so amazing!
Caleb sounds 100% better than the download performance and 500% better than the 2015 warped tour. He can actually hold most screams and he really knows how to get the crowd going.

I've been lucky enough to see Suicidal Tendencies in a dive bar in long beach, CA, Saw Danzig, Guns N roses (before they even release appetite), Sublime (at a house party in Long beach, good times!). This band, I've never heard of them, but they got some great energy and good to see the crowd is into it, also sounded great too!

Caleb is like a fan of his own band haha. Hes out there getting it with the crowd! Looks like such a killer show. Being someone who was at their first show and stage dived. This venue is a tad smaller than Kobo was but man the energy is there!
Just yesterday I was listening to Beartooth and thought "man, I would love to see Caleb playing drums" and then this appears in my recommended.

A couple years ago I was fortune enough to see them at a venue called "The House Cafe" in Dekalb, Illinois. It's literally a coffee shop with a stage and a 170 person capacity. Very similar experience to this and definitely a show I won't forget. Always love the energy at these super small shows, it's incomparable to any other show.
Hell yes dude. I’m from dekalb and there have been loads of great bands there. I remember seeing them there. Best show I’ve seen there other than the microwave show last summer

I love these guys, they pack so much energy into a tiny room! People knocking the vocals, but it's not representative of their performance at all, you've only gotta watch other live videos to see that. Their playing in a tiny bar, probably not the best acoustics. The backing vocals normally sound so much better and Caleb has improved so much, dude has so much talent, people don't even realise!

Caleb is the best at writing songs that fucking SLAP live. Like there is no better segment of a song to scream your head off to than the breakdown buildup of The Lines.
