Popped off so hard when he whipped out the Bowser. As a Bowser main who has got into so many arguments over how solid of a character he is, this just made my day. I love you Nairo.

They'd say he gets comboed too hard and has trouble landing. Some even say his frame data is poor. Which just isn't true. At least these days it's getting better.
I would only say he is solid in the hands of a good player. If you have played Bowser a lot he can be good, but a lot of people who play him just suck.

Okay, then Bowser sucks if you follow your logic. I'm just saying that some people are really good with Bowser and not good with other characters because they have to put a lot of time into getting good at him, and then some people are really good at all the characters.

It's very close but I think Bowser edges DK because of his solid nair and DI mixups with the grab (he can do back air along with up air)

Mr E put on a clinic on how to not land safely. "HOW TO LAND INTO SHIELD GRABS REPETITIVELY" - By Mr E.
You can't actually land against a good Bowser, his grab range is longer than toon link's (literally) and it takes him 3-4 grabs to win. The only "safe" way is to land on a platform or grab the ledge.
Zamorano Oficial Mr E didn't try to land into spot dodge or fastfall once. If he did that once, he would have crapped on Nairo.
Tomahawk grab is a good mixup too.
Marth's Nair is safe on Bowser shield if spaced.
Nairo kept perfect shielding it, meaning it had not shield knockback nor shieldstun.

Besides Esam doing very well at this tournament, this was the highlight of UGC for me.
I laughed so hard at the end with the consecutive grabs.

To all the people who are surprised: I'm not surprised. This man Nairo plays a lot of characters, and his Bowser is no joke, if you've seen his stream. And if you didn't know and now you should know, Bowser has some of the best grabs in the game after the buff and he's not a weak character. People seem to forget that. As for Mr. E, as a Marth main this is tough to see, but after Nairo took a game with Bowser, 8 coildbtell Mr. E was falling apart. Mr. E just doesn't have the experience against Bowser and was panicking a lot. He looks shaky a lot unfortunately
Rage is a huge plus for heavyweights. And I know what it's like to be grabbed by a Bowser at Kill percent, it is real scary.

Bowser does lose to Marth, fairly badly actually. What you're seeing here if Mr. E failing to
play the matchup properly. Bowser is a good character who controls the ground really well. However, his landing and approach options are very limited. You need to prevent him from landing, force him to go to ledge, then edgeguard him. Counter, fair and bair work wonders for edge guarding bowsers up b.

It's hilarious when DK mains tell me about DK's pivot grab range making him a better grappler and I'm like. Bowser's is literally the best in the game.

bowser is a worse bayo. u make a mistake and take 40℅ u could be winning the whole game, take two grabs and go into death percent. bowser punish game is broken like bayo, but his weaknesses are far worse than bayos

Mitchell Luken mr wasnt playing that well in neutral against bowser. He kept throwing out unnecessary hitboxes so nairo just followed the pattern. Also mr e wasnt respecting bowser

RPanda 13 Bowser is a good mixup character, but his weaknesses are way too glaring. And honestly Mr. E just choked right here, not taking anything away from Nairo he played Bowser 100% perfectly.

I main bowser and the biggest weaknesses he has is not having good landing options and super easy to combo. Those two things hold him back alot against alot of the top tiers.

For my analysis i think Mr. E kept reaching for things that were no necessary. He shouldnt be using dancing blade so much when bowser has super early kill confirms and great out of shield options. Also while he had the lead he kept throwing out too many hitboxes so that led nairo to read his order and punish. What mr e shouldve been doing his racking up damage while walling bowser out. Then once he is at the percent where jab into fair or jab into f-tilt works thats when he could start approaching little by little. Nairo won by mr e panicking a little too much. But hey good stuff to mr e for destroying nairo's zss

Why is it that Mr. E doesn't use the downward angle of Dancing Blade when it does like .5x more damage? Is ZSS able to just SDI out at most positions or something?
He does use it a little bit but not a whole lot
The Marth made TONS of mistakes... I see backwards fSmash, misplaced dAir, misplaced pivot grab, repeatedly using unsafe landings, not using counter or especially shieldbreaker...

How does nairo up throw up air so easily? It cant be that easy because I do it and they always airdodge at the last second. I play with a marth too so idk how he always gets it. Is there a certain way to fo it? I just up throw then double jump and up air with the c stick and most of the time I miss on anyone whos not a fast faller

In that first game with Bowser, Mr E could have increased his chances of winning if he went for a reliable Bair instead of the Dair. In game 2, he started getting nervous and kept trying to approach instead of walling Bowser out patiently, which got him grabbed and punished. Game 3 Nairo optimized Marths bad landing options by using shield and grab. Mr E could have won with that one bair, which would have led to Nairo only having his up b to save his life :(

Nairo plays default controls? Just like I did when I mained Mario then had to swtich one control setting, and that control being C-stick to attack because Sheik.

I've fought browsers with Marth and I can say it's tricky
its offical man.. nairos mastery of so many characters makes him the best smash player. sure zero and ally are good with their character, but everyone knows how they are gonna play by now because they lock into one character. Zeros only good secondaries from what is shiek and maybe donkey. which are both solid and I like his line up, but smash 4 is about counter picks, so if you can counter pick against any character and be good with said character you get a thumbs up in my book even if you lose. this is just my opinion after looking at many top player streams.

Viridian Games nah im an adult with a job and school who has no time to attend tournaments. really wish i could though. I play this game by myself when ever i get the time. all i can do is watch as much tournament content so i don't fall behind. ill attend one day.
Nairo has a lot of good characters, but ZeRo has better fundamentals overall
