Hey folks! This is Chris Boulet. First of all... that Watermelon in Easter Hay (?) thing has nothing to do with me... it somehow ended up on this tape that's going around. So, if you want to see just the interview it starts at about 4.05. Secondly... the radio station that hosted the interview got cold feet at the 11th hour and wouldn't let me do the interview live, which left me scrambling for some way to record the damn thing. I ended up recording it at a fellow zappafan's house. A fan who also happened to have an old, perfect condition, copy of Man's Life (If you watch the video... you'll understand...) and a videocamera to document the WORST SOUNDING ZAPPA interview EVER. Something I'm not particularly proud of... but the interview itself... that's not so bad. I'm younger and stupider, so...there's that. And lastly... this is probably at least third generation... the only real first generation copy was on Beta and it was sent to Frank. And then... years and years after Frank passed away... Alex Winter found it, and passed it over to Joe Travers who in turn baked it along with all of the rest of Zappa's videotapes. On that original tape, ANOTHER Zappafan friend of mine who isd the person that helped me dub the terrrible sounding phone interview onto the tape (WITHOUTSMPTE!) had added a bootleg concert of Colombus Ohio... which you can see part of THAT actual tape on the Who the%&="£ is Frank Zappa origal video clip posts.

Hey, thanks for the interesting and self-critical insights! They are appreciated.
Great interview!
"Uniondale wasn't the best show we did in the US".
Whatever happened to the Czech wood carving video?
Didn't catch everything but great interview!
Sigur Rós before Sigur Rós. If you know, you know.
Except a million time better than Sigur could ever imagine being, right.
