Google's Search algorithm was leaked last week, and everybody and their mom has talked about it. Here are my action steps - particularly for local SEO - after digesting the data for a few days.

I don’t *hate* blogging. I just think for local SEO, there are so many other boxes we should be checking on our way to blogging. I think most SEOs use it as a “box” to check so they have a deliverable each month. I think more sinister agencies are using these to drive vanity metrics (impressions, visitors) when really $$$ is all that matters to the client. Do we need impressions and visitors? Yes. But send those to the “money” pages: homepage, services, locations; build out your supporting pages later.
