An incredible job. What a beautiful thing to see and that sound is the sound of music to my ears. I’ve 2 650 kats, 1 fully done, the other being restored. If it looks half as good I’ll be happy. Well done.
Very nice, I remember sitting on the katana in Suzuki dealer and just raising it fro the side stad and Inoticed how heavy it was surprisingly heavy Around 250k.
Nice bike, ...but where did you get the pipes....i own the 1100 1983, she has just had a rebuild, she goes like a rocket, she only starts pulling at 90 mph....and she is for sale , sad to see her go , but what a bike. Thanks for the upload.

@@htmonaro Hey, nice. Congrats on the resto. Thanks 4 sharing. Could you do an update vid, without the music, or a new vid in the Twisties with no music???? Cheers
Keep that 80's Katana Spirit alive... best looking bike back then

very cool post !!! thanks for posting !!
handsome bike!!!
Very rare Katana 1000 for production racing with the wider wire wheels and a rear 18" & slide type carbs instead of the CVs .. like hens teeth.
Meant to say I am restoring a US model 1000 and a 750, both 1982. Chris
oldschool awesome!! sounds mean..
Good stuff mate.
Lovely bike! :)
Lovely machine! Was really interested in the exhaust; is that a one-off? Or something you bought? Keep up the good work. Chris
+Chris Appleby The exhaust came from Webike in Japan "K-fac" a quality system at a reasonable price...japan.webike.net/products/22051247.html
very nice job, a big thumbs up from me! what kind of coating did you use for the crank cases?
+gixxer7501991 Cheers mate....satin black powder coat.
