@@yesyes3392 What?! I highly doubt your grandmother is performing 50+ shows, around the world, dancing in heels and singing LIVE at 70 years old, selling out stadiums. This is VERY impressive what Tina is doing, as most entertainers are washed up by the age of 50, let alone 70.
I miss her live concerts, but that amazing lady has earned her retirement and life of leisure .

it's not easy keeping the voice perfect like you hear in studio recorded CD s you play this is reality at 70 she was incredable ! ( spoken as someone who's did work on stage for 30+ years !)
An evening you will remember all you life, lucky you ! Saw this concert in Montreal in December 2008 and I am so glad I did. This was my third time and I enjoyed every minute of this extraordinary performance.

"I was excited to get back to work. But I did notice that I wasn’t as energetic as I used to be. At my age, feeling tired was to be expected, considering that I was on a demanding international tour. Plus, I was living with high blood pressure. I had been diagnosed in 1978, and back then, I didn’t think much of it. It was genetic-both my mother and sister had it. I don’t remember being told exactly what high blood pressure was, or how it might affect my body. I took it literally, like “high” blood pressure was normal for me-so I didn’t worry about getting it down to a lower number. In 1985, my doctor gave me medication, a pill to take once a day, and that was that. Some nights, as I put on my makeup, I had to push myself to get in the mood. No matter what I was feeling in my dressing room-the lethargy, the aches and pains, the exhaustion-by the time I stepped out onthat stage, I was Tina, and the audience saw the Tina they wanted to see. But I knew the difference. For me, every song I sing is an opportunity to take flight, to soar. With each show, it became harder and harder for me to get into second gear, to fly the way I was used to flying. I believed that my body had started to react to working with high blood pressure and the medication, and that was the reason I couldn’t hit my notes. Dammit! I wanted to hit those notes. Whatever was holding me back, I had to fight it, and it took every drop of energy and life for me to make it through my performance each night. Roger would come into my dressing room after the show and look at me, kind of like he knew that I was just too tired to keep this up much longer. "

💔😞😭 that's so sad that she was feeling poorly. Hearing her words and knowing how much of a perfectionist she is, mentally that had to tear her up.
yes everyone has high blood pressure because of our diet. My grandma is 69 and can do this if she was 80 it would be another story.
I am not surprised Tina found the tour hard-going as it must take a lot out of an artist, mentally as well as physically. Without a shadow of a doubt, Tina was the best live female performer, she gave a 110% and more. She deserves her retirement for sure, but what a shame we won't see her on the stage performing again. At least with have utube and DVDs so that we can always dip in now and again to watch this amazing performer.

Tina just passed today at 84 years old...and to look back and see how vibrant she was at age 70 - and her voice was still AMAZING...what a marvelous woman and entertainer. She will be missed! RIP Tina. Go enjoy a rest in heaven, Proud Mary!
She was 83, she suffered a stroke yrs. Ago, also was a transplant recipient. She was amazing, she buried 2 sons. She went through hell on earth, but is now traveling the galaxy in Peace. ❤❤❤

An amazing beautiful lady right until the end. I was so blessed to see Tina live a few times In my life. The world was a better place with this talented lady in it. I will never forget your energy and electric performances. It’s not where you start it’s where you finish. A true professional and your music will always live on. I sobbed like a bitch when she did that final sing and waving. I was on the 5th row, my 5th concert that weekish in England. I still fill up watching this. She’s blew 6 of my “none Tina fans” away - now total Tina fans still 13 years on x
I also cry when I watch the video of her walking into the Luntfontare Theater on the opening night of "Tina" the Musical musical in New York City. The crowd was going wild as she walked into the theater and her face just lit up. This is shown at the end of the documentary about her which aired on HBO in March of 2021. Everytime I watch it I sob.
70 years old. How crazy amazing. She's probably tearing it up in the great beyond. 🥰

I was twice at her concert about 30 years ago. Even at that time we were amazed how over 50 years old lady can dance and run around the stage so much but all the time voice was so clear and we couldn't notice any problems with voice after such "exercise". She was great then, and was always. RIP Tina, you really was The Best
