    This loss hits hard. I was a young adult in the 80’s and this woman was everywhere back than. She had the whole package and the legs to match. She had to fight (literally) to overcome adversity and came out shining like a fine diamond. We’ll miss you lovely Tina. You’re now another member of a celestial choir in paradise. RIP Miss Tina.❤

    As a little girl when I first saw Tina dancing in her shimmy dress, I was so in awe and captivated by her dancing. I tried to dance like her and it was so much fun. As an adult now, I realize she was so much more than her talents. She was truly a wonderful person with a big heart. That’s why she was so loved and blessed. I’m glad she found the inner peace and love that she so deserved. Rest in Paradise beautiful queen 👸!

    My absolute favorite song of hers. It inspired me as I was contemplating divorce from my physically abusive husband. I knew she made this song because of her ordeal with Ike. She was at her peak here. She looked utterly fantastic and was ecstatically happy. That song and the way she sang it was explosive - not only in sound but in feeling. Rest in Peace, Tina.     I remember seeing this the night it aired way back then. Her Mick impersonation is as spot on hilarious now as it was then. Tina was among the best singers fronting a soul, R&B, or Rock & Roll band. She was as good as any of them. Theres a reason she was known as The Queen or Rock & Roll. As a testament to her greatness, her big comeback with Private Dancer came when she was 45 years old. A "comeback" that successful for an artist at that age had never really been accomplished before in Rock & Roll. By anyone, man or woman. Certainly not to that level

    I used to work the midnight shift and would record Letterman while I was at work in my VCR. I would occasionally transfer the musical guest to tape cassette. These tapes I took to work years later and I would play them on the PA system after the basketball games. When Tina came on, the people would stop talking and look up and listen to her sing.       Celebrity is the antithesis of our true nature in healthy connection with nature...
      Celebrity 'lifestyle' like anything atop and heirachical does not sustainable in balance with nature planet make.
      It's confusion and division between acting/theatre and nature reality.

    I remember when this video first came out on VH-1 and just being mesmerized by the lyrics, melody and her presence.
    The next day after work, went to Macy's in Manhattan and bought me this ensemble
    jeans, white blouse and black belt and boots😊

    Iconic in every space she ever occupies, even Dave couldn't get enough of her, he was so mesmerized and in love with her in this video and I don't blame him, who wouldn't. Tina Turner had that presence, that eteral IT factor, naturally beautiful. Losing her 💔 is a big loss and I know the heavens gained another legendary angel.       I too used to think Tina would live forever but unfortunately her health started failing her in recent years even after the kidney transplant from her husband she stayed around a good while. She has finished her course here on earth, may flights of angels carry Tina to her resting place.

    OMG on top of all of her untouchable artistic talents, she is funny and she NAILED her impression of Mick Jagger! I have always been in awe of this powerhouse. Once she broke free of Ike she didn't let anyone or anything define her but HER. She is 53 in this appearance. What an inspiration in how to age with grace and passion.
