My first thought when they announced the sequel was that there was no need for a sequel because the first movie was a perfect standalone. The only scene I didn’t like in the original was that sixth sense scene. I’ll probably still watch joker 2 in theaters but at least my expectations are tempered.
@@DouglasCarter69 yes. Original was good on its own, telling its own story. I guess Todd Philips also wasn’t sure how to progress the Arthur character so he went backwards 🥴
