I just spent the past 45 minutes trying to insert text inside a text box in a Word document. I finally went online and watched Erin Wright's video and it was SO HELPFUL! I was about to give up but your video saved the day for me! Thank you SO much, Erin! You're the best!
I am in word but i literally have none of the tabs you are talking about, no text box option besides drawing, no text wrapping option, and i cant even move my text box around the page it only changes sizes
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues working with text boxes. Which version of Word are you using? As mention in the introduction, these steps are for Word for Microsoft 365, Word 2021, Word 2019, Word 2016, and Word 2013.
Thank you for watching! If you select the text box, the handles on the border can be used to adjust the shape. You can also select Edit Shape in the Shape Format tab. To link them together, select Create Link in the Shape Format tab. Your cursor will change to a "pitcher" and you can then select the second text box. Good luck with your project!
