Kev, a great video. I prefer the cheaper avenues and sometimes we all need to think outside of the hobby box for items and ways to do things... The black edge creates a clear line between the track and the baseboards and brings your eyes back up to the layout. I am more of a paint brush person as I was taught how to cut in with a brush correctly. But everyone has to do what they feel is the correct way for them!..... So your next project is to clean & tidy up what is under the bench??
Thank you Tim! The type of brush is definitely a preference, but when you don't have much experience or talent, like me, the foam brush worked well. I also had the foam brush already but didn't have any regular ones at home, so price affected the decision haha. The underside of the layout is a huge project as a whole... I need to clean, redo most of the wiring, and even redo some bench work. Have a nice day!
When Working on A Layout you do What you Can one way Or Another for Me My Ho Was Painted Green then I Got Some Glue And Grass And Did That And My Layouts look Real Good But people Do their layouts Different ALL Good.
@@twiggs24 I missed a chance to get a GP engine a few years ago and I haven't found any at a decent price since :( still actively looking! I do have a few box cars that I often run!
Good tips thanks for sharing!

@@XBOXShawn12thman Thank you! I hope you enjoy the content!
Hi Kevin, I just subscribed. I plan to do that, as I build my layout
Excellent idea. One I have been doing for years. Now, step number 2: Black cloth skirt to hide the stuff under the layout.
It is a great idea! Will be on the to do list!
