I remember as a kid my dad was as into model railroading. I’m 70 now and still have a couple of cars and a couple that have to be assembled. He went all out building mountains, tunnels, streets and towns. He would set it up under tree at Christmas time. Back then they had lead tinsel and if it feel across track it would stop the train and you could pick back up and would go again. I really enjoy watching model trains.
I got same one about a month ago same one love it enjoy for long time to come an your layout looks great keep the videos coming thank I love your layouts but especially the newest one you doing now
Please explain to me why you have big sections of missing ties on your tracks? I presume its at a track coupling point?? You've done a great job laying out track & buildings, but the missing ties de-tracks from the great lay out you have. Keep working and learning the finer points of model railroading! Your train table looks fabulous & easy to get around!
Ken as you are relocating your station, it would make more sense to have it within easy walking distance of the town houses, as opposed to the industrial area. (Public Stations are not usually situated by rail yards)
have a critique. You should figure a couple turn out to get the passenger termina and back to the main line. More realistic that that way and a lot wear and tear backing and shuffling around.
You might have the radius of most of that track too tight for larger locomotives and rolling stock. Flex track is usually only used for long straight runs.
I don’t think diverting viewers away from Ken’s channel makes very good business sense. That like a good chef recommending the restaurant across the street? 🤔?

They did a nice job with them
Ken, I love the way the layout is comming along. I can't wait for the next episode.

Nice. God bless.
Ken I like the beginnings of a distant landscape that you are creating against the back sidewall 👍
Glad you like it

Cool, thanks
Thank you for a pleasant time spent with your new layout.
Glad you enjoyed it
Your Colonial House is going to be the start of a wonderful village. Watching the village grow will make for interesting video(s).
Thanks, I agree
Nice work. Also nice on the dremel, I use it a lot.
Cool, thanks. Something else I have to learn.
And I was thinking about you wanting to walk inside the house as you walked up. Haha. 😂
Hahahaha
You have a great beginning with the buildings. So much fun. Wonderful
Thank you 🤗
Great score ken! Great looking house! Keep up the good work! Enjoy following your progress. I'm thinking about doing a shelf layout.
Thanks yes, definitely do it

Brilliant intro Ken - clever and amusing!
Funny outro with the thumbnails - you could be a model in a railroading catalogue!
Haha thanks so much
Hey Ken maybe an episode where you and Lauren visit a model train toy fare would be fun!
Good idea thanks
a nice home you have for $23 your amazing layout is comeing a long so nice i am happy for you ken and kaya have a nice weekend
Enjoyed you play time it looked like fun, have the grand children been over to see it.
Yes some of them

Good advice. Thanks
I recommend skirting around the table. Train themed sheets work great.
Thanks for the tip!
The Dremel is useful for many things, good size for your RR work.
Thanks
Nice house great price
Thanks
You should write a list for Santa.😊
Haha true

Very nice ,looks like a lot of fun my friend..🌴🐊😎
At train shows you can find buildings all ready built.
I will remember that
You might have the radius of most of that track too tight for larger locomotives and rolling stock. Flex track is usually only used for long straight runs.
If you use PIKO track screws, the track can be reused later.
Cool thanks
Wow! $23 for a 2 story colonial! Now that's affordable housing!!! 😅
Haha can’t beat it
Gosh, what a great price for housing. Wouldn't it be nice to get all your buildings tgat cheap.
Yes definitely
Second hand ones at a model train market are usually at a snip. ($23 would probably get you two or three!)
Don’t forget putting bumpers at your dead ends
Thanks yes
25 pieces of 3 foot atlas bendable track would be my guess. and that comes in at much more expense than a decent locomotive. SIGHS....
Haha
Are your houses and train stations on the same scale as the trains
They look a little large against those trains - don’t they?
The house is
You should get an airbrush next.
Ooooh. I like it
Can you track your track order Ken? 😁
Haha yes I can
When cutting things with the Dremel make sure you wear safety glasses
Atlas track is all I use including turnouts
Oh. Good to know.
What is the interest rate and how much a month is your mortgage lol lol❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
PIKO screws work on foam and wood.
Thanks
I bought a factory and a store for $3.00 at train show. I am going to a train show today.
I went to a train show last year. I should have bought buildings there. Everything was still pretty new to me as far as what to do.
Hey Amy if you can spare one or two I’m sure Ken would love them! 🙏
If you want to see someone who has a real knack for buildings and roads watch Jason Jensons videos
Cool, thanks I appreciate it
