We are four weeks into our hoya propagations. Last week I potted up the Australis, but wasn't sure if the leafless tendrils would do anything but root...boy was I pleasantly surprised. In this video, we take a quick trip through root and leaf progress of several of my current propagations.

Pothos can grow in water for as long as you want.Many keep pothos in their fish tanks and they grow great.

Happy Accident (leaves in the glass)...I'm so glad I tried that. Do you know they are still kicking it? I will never throw away my cut leaves again.

Great tips and ideas. The Hoya with q-tip to keep it out of the water is brilliant. Plus seeing new growth on the Hoya stems is 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks Carla. I'm so excited this worked. I was worried about these thin stemmed hoyas, still think they prop better in sphagnum, but the wait time be brutal.
@@yvetteboonecreates I don’t have much luck with sphagnum… water is my preference… but never tried with leafless stems. Im excited for you!!

Awwww..... I'm sad about the puduncle falling off.....
Feelings were crushed...right?. The mother plant has not pushed out any new growth since the cut. I was hoping the cut would spark some growth. 🤞🏽 soon come.

Love the updates and looking forward to seeing how your dieffenbachia does after her chop. I had roots coming out of the stem of a few of my pothos in my water propagations. I thought the roots only came out of the nodes. 💚
As for as I know Jackie, the pothos only grow roots/leaves through nodes. I guess the water travels up the cell walls to supply the leaf, but I don't think these leaves will ever grow roots/leaves. Now those hoyas are a different story.
