wauw my upmost respect on how you and your birds are so dedicated and in flow connection. True a Joy to view and experience. Musical happy and healthy greetings, from Finland.
I love the bond you have with your birds letting them fly free takes a very good relationship for them to come back to you but also birds ain't stupid they know if they escape they won't get food every day and they would die in a week from predators or starvation (sorry for any spelling errors).
eaglefighter33 its actually more dangerous to have a clipped bird in a lot of situations. its also really bad for the birds health. i would say do some research to learn more about it! :)
GlitchedPhonic Lots and lots and lots and training... positive reinforcement... target and recall training that is 100% every time, done in doors for months to years before attempting outside flight.. Read up on it.. lots of info out there.. Libertywings.com is my fav
Hi, How much greens , fruit and nuts should I give a blue and gold macaw ( like slices, 2 Brazil's etc.)?Getting one soon and getting this answer is so hard ( I asked 7 different owners and no answer).
Good job, they are well trained to fly and return. It's too bad that some people who can't control those birds clip their feathers. It's like cutting our leg fingers so we can't run anymore
wow man...how cool is that/? free flying macs :-) I would love to try that with my Blue Front..couldn't bare the thought of her not coming back tho :-((
If you clip their wings if their in danger they can not fly away from it .like my bird slide down the banister if her wings were clipped she would of fallen and she could not fly from the danger but she has her wings not clipped so she can fly and she flew and it helped her

Watching your videos was what inspired me to free fly my macaw too. Diego loves it! You have amazing relationship with your feathered kids ;)
You are so connected with your birds! Well done!
I bet they were super happy to fly around and be loud as hell. Very pretty birds. I'd want one myself but I don't think I'd be good at owning one.
