War-Prowse is the player that perfectly shows that you can't rely on the polygon to judge a player :D
For me in my AS Roma save Sebastiano Esposito has been absolutely mental. He has been good in the other FM's but this year you can get him cheap and he is good from day 1!

Benjamin sesko has delivered for me consistently on every save I’ve signed him. Reliable strikers are very hard to find
Another CB I've come across is Friedrich from Union berlin. ( Now at M'Gladhbach) signed him just for 3mil. He played every game for 4 entire seasons, won everything in the air. (Every season had the best headers won numbers). Just a beast!
Talking of overpowered, check out Guille Rosas from Sporting Gijon. Usually ends up at one of the top 10 clubs in Europe for less than £20m, act quickly enough into the save and you can get him for around half that much. Truly an underrated signing.
i somehow got him for 1,6 mil(his release clause) at Nantes
Lorenzo Lucca is the perfect game changer...
every save/season in Premier League avg. 25 goals coming from the bench
He can score with Header even between Van Dijk and Konate
I’ve just signed him and with Isak up front both of them are getting over a goal a game over two seasons! He’s a best!

I would go for Nuno Santos (Sporting CP) + Tiago Tomás (Sporting CP) = Lots of Goals and Assits, it's crazy how good these guys get.
Nuno was great for me on my Newcastle save. Got a bit phased out from the 3rd season onwards but he was alway a fantastic squad player when you needed him
Great list! Raphael Guerreiro is also absolutely incredible :) Insane crosses and usually gets 15-20 assists every season
Yep, especially on wide free kicks where he will get an assist every 3 or 4 games.
I sold him at BVB to Newcastle and bought Cucurella
Guerrerio was good but Cucurella is just an all round better player than him for me

Raphinha has been ridiculous in both my Newcastle saves as an inverted winger. Reliably gets an 8.0 rating in the league and has even won world player of the year a couple of times.

Collado from Barcelona, played as an Inverted Winger on the right. Got him with 0 hopes cause my team was decimated by injuries and he ended up having 3 seasons at 10 goals 10 assists. Blanco from Castilla as well always performs in my saves.

Omg YES. In every club (different roles) I buy him with, even at Barcelona he turns out to be the best rated player of the season!

Benoit Badiashile! He will OWN the air everywhere on the pitch. Has the speed and strength which gives him the versatility to keep up with speedy attackers and wont get muscled out against bulkier ones.
On top of that he isnt scared to dribble the ball forward on the press. Has a ton of room to grow as well.
I picked him up in both my Leipzig and Newcastle saves and made Team of the Year in both games in his first year. He begins the 1st season with a 130CP and his potential is anywhere from 147-168. It wont matter if you get a Badiashile with lower potential though, he will flat out dominate at 130.
You can grab him for anywhere between 7-15 million.
His only weakness is his mentals and will sometimes be late to react (or not react at all) so some runs or not cover space he is supposed to be covering
But usually he can get more mentals as he ages
@@verbfrombonsai8852 good points. I always try and pair him with another player who can read the field better and use them in a Cover role. They dont need to be a superstar but they do need to have a couple of 14's and above on the mentals that a good CB needs.
Ive found that he worked best with a player like a Mats Hummels. A guy who can no longer physically put his stamp on the game but when Badiashile falters Hummels will always be there to cover his mistakes.
Orban from Leipzig was also good in this partnering role.
And I guess the biggest bonus from a player like badiashile is he is very lethal in set pieces and can grab you multiple headers and can get you 10+ goals a season
Definitely not 7-15m anymore. I just started a new game and Badiashile offer accepted was 49m after several attempts, so I went for Maxence Lacroix 30m instead
LB - Grimaldo (Benfica) is also a great player. If you use him to do your freekicks, 9/10 are goals.
RB - Max Aarons (Norwich)
CB - Lucas Veríssimo (Benfica)
CB - Roger Ibanez (Roma)
CM - Renato Sanches (Lille)
CM - Sinkgraven
ST - Darwin (Benfica) , Alexander Isak (Real Sociedad) , Gonçalo Ramos (Benfica)

Jonathan Tah is incredible player, cost less than 15mil, 6 foot 5, quick and strong, great mental attributes. Used him and Konsa in my Newcastle save, they carried my defense for years

Benjamin Sesko, bought him to AC Milan for 14 millions sold him for 120 after 3 seasons.
Süle is absolutely world class, at Tottenham I got him for $16m, he scores off of corners, brilliant defender, complete opposite of real life actually 😂
süle scored 27 goals in my bayern save, he is outstanding and op. When he went to bvb on free transfer, i got got bastoni and he is not nearly as good as him :C

Just started watching video so commenting first. I imagine the performances will be linked to hidden attributes. To be honest I don't know why they should be hidden.
Professionalism and ambition both impact the rate at which a player will improve.
A player with 2 good feet increases the CA quite a lot so that must be very good to have and make them a better player. But not something that's really emphasised on the attribute screen (with numbers).
Consistency is the rate at which a player performs to his non-hidden attributes so that has to be very important.
In addition attributes like injury proneness are going to reflect how often he plays which in turn reflects how quickly he improves.
While high scores for pressure, temperament and maybe even versatility will all contribute to better performances on the pitch.
Keep up the great work Jake. I look forward to taking notes for the "over powered players" to put on a shortlist.
Pressure is an underrated attribute, especially for players you want to score goals. Also finding players that have mediocre technical and mentals, but high physicals and consistency is a good way to get bargain players. A player with say average 11 technicals and mentals with high consistency will perform as good as someone with low consistency but better technicals and mentals
Always drawn to Prowse tbh.
However Moriba is a close second.
Bruno Iglesias is a beast, just try this kid you won’t be surprised you’ll pick him up cheap too.
Camavinga never fails me and every save he requests to be put on transfer list because of playing time; I’ve constantly picked him up between £30-45m.
Roko Simic is a beast I do hope next game they buff him, because he’s going to be the next Haaland.
Mohamed-Ali Cho is very consistent everytime I buy him.
Honestly I’ve found so many gems in this game but I struggle with sentimental value when I find them but the club comes first, you know wage structure, balance, fresh blood etc.
Dan axel zagadou has been immense for me in several saves

3 of my favourite players is victor tsygankov, luize Filipe and Andre Onana. All unreal and not very expensive. Felipe is around 10 million, onana about 20 million and tsygankov 30 to 40 million but he’s so worth it I promise!
Biraghi, Milenkovic, Collado, and strangely enough Cole Palmer. Needed a False 9 and found Palmer on the cheap - as English players go, anyways - and found myself a great assister and goal scorer.
Collado is Amazing, he's helping my Osasuna to fight for the La Liga
Aaron cresswell has been absolutely immense for me in my first season at west ham. Got 31 assists and 6 goals over the course of the season. Just looked it up and he has 18 consistency. Makes sense now haha
I’ve just started a West Ham save and I thought I was seeing things with cresswell. He’s so so so good
I remember i buy illia Zabarnyi on my FC Kobenhagen once. And god dame he was good. He became the best center back in the league 3 years in a row. And then he got to big for the club. So I have to sell him.
I would say anel ahmedhodzic he plays good and if you get him early, you need to pay only 2mil.
He has the best price performance ratio in the game, It is top notch level player in the game with the direct contribution.
I did an online save with my friend and West Ham had both Barbosa and Cabral and they shred us to pieces every time we played them

Thanks a lot for the video! I have begun a save for fun with in-game editor and I am trying to make some players for my team but at the current ability of around 130 which is the competition standard. I have a hard time to distribute the attributes of a 130-135 current ability to make as good players as possible. I dont know if I should give them great physicals and mediocre technical/mental as physicals seem to be the ones more difficult to develop. I would love a video where you make your own "perfect" player for each position but with a current ability not more than 140-150 (cause after that its easy to make good player anyway :P ). I am still not sure which attributes have more impact in-game... Should I have 14 vision and 12 passing? or 12 vision and 14 passing (example). What I did find out is that attribute "Decisions" eats up a lot of current ability in almost all positions along with acceleration and pace.

Madueke is absolutely brilliant! Had double digit in goals and assists on his first season with my Tottenham.

Literally brought wrexham from Vara national through sky bet cups 2 & 1. Two seasons in sky bet championship. Won FA cup in first season in championship missed out on promotion cause i got fined 12 points for going over budget. Managed to beat man city final 3-1 second season kn championship i won the carabao cup and scooped up championship cup to land a budget double and now ots 2027 and all the bigteams in the prem are solid. Zidane in charge of utd with all sorts of big sighnings and he still runs paul pogba.... managed to get van de beek on a free transfer as well as Misehouy, fausto vera, Bernadeschi, perraud and braff. Avg 3half star with some on 4. Was chuffed they were free cause my squad is no where near prem ready. Lol

5:46 this team and tactic is acutally extremely close to my dortmund save. same players are gvardiol, lacroix, baku, bellingham and moukoko, but I considered nico and wirtz. It just didn't work out. got nkunku instead and replaced him with musiala later.

Benjamin Sesko is my favorite striker and price really good
For me Denzel Dumfries is a surprisingly consistent and amazing right wing back for my Eintracht Frankfurt save. Won the Player of the year at Bundesliga once, consistently >7.2 rating every year. Even when the team is performing badly he’s usually the only one who still has a decent performance.
Andrea Belotti scored 53 goals in 46 games for me as Birmingham City manager in the championship lmao
Olivier Giroud made a ridiculous 48 goals in his first season with Milan in all legit competitions, coming through with 40 the season after - I don't know if this is a recurring thing or did it just happen to me?
Angel correa from athletico. Play him down the right side winger attack, has been phenomenal in my Newcastle save signed him for 30m
signed adeyemi to juve because morata could score. this was before vlahovic joined. he scored 42 goals in that season he was mental.

How does one get high transfer fee for ur players? I got Adeymi scoring 30+ goals every season yet no big clubs make a offer for him? Also I noticed in the video you sold him for 200+ mil. I've never recieved a offer for a player over 100mil any tips

try hagi from rangers, cheap and even in a newcastle team 4 years on he still scores goals puts in assists and is a leader
Karim and Dominik in my bayern team Karim first season 12 goals and 5 asisst i play him as a false 9 CF and PF he's at his full potential in his second season after I sold Lewandowski to real for 65 million 🤣🤣 Karim second season he scored 37 goals and 11 asisst not bad DL didn't really get the best over nuear first season but he's playing good now
i didnt pick up this years FM22 i was used to the "lite" version which removed alot of the in depth stuff - shame they binned it off
Gabriel Barbosa just finished his first roma season with 37 goals and 13 assists, absolute hack that no one seems to know about
I wish you could own a club in fm so that l could build it up financially. It would ad so much extra strategy. For mevin every fm game...l only buy wonder kids. You can get loads cheap...l won champions league and premiership with Newcastle having only spent 100mmillion on wonderkids and playing them.

In my Osasuna Save i have 4 players that play amazingly, Ruben Blanco (Celta), Ontiveros (Villareal), Collado (Barcelona) and Lorenzon Lucca (Pisa), Lucca is a stud, the man is born to score gols
I always play with Osasuna, in last versions, i love this Team
