Good ear. It sounds like he slid up into the right note. He might have accidentally hit the wrong note and then slid to the right one, or he was trying to slid anyway but his finger got stuck and made it a bumpy transition. When I play a lot the callouses on my figners square off and can get caught on the frets when sliding and make that kind of choppy sounding slide. There's a bad one in my solo on the song The Only One by Esperanto, the band said leave it cause it sounded "cool", lol.
