You MUST close the distance and if possible go on the back.... you must not stay in front because you are a easy target.... in reality you can not see a punch coming.... you must go forwars than use chi sao to feel.... you use too much eyes.... this is not a good lineage to me.... You are good in what you do But what you do is not good. In my humble opinion.
