I am from Morristown. My grandmother worked at the Little Dutch restaurant in the 60’s and early 70’s. At one point in history, the downtown flooded and almost wiped out all the businesses. They built the elevated sidewalks which they called it, Sky Mart. I am glad they decided to renovate the downtown.
Hi, fellow former Morristownian! My folks moved to M'town in 1949. Dad worked at Sterchi's, then went into the car business. I ate often at the Little Dutch (most everyone did). I'm wondering if I knew your grandmother. I left Morristown in 1962, although my parents were there until about 1983, so I visited occasionally until that year. Haven't been back in almost 50 years. Would love to go.
My father grew up in Morristown. William Smith. His mother my grandmother is Effie Smith. I don’t remember my grandfather first name. I never met either of them. Any chance you know them?
Moved here in 2018. Began street preaching here regularly in 2020, left to street preach in another town in 2022, then returned in Morristown again to street preach across the 1907 Brewing Company once again from 2023 to present.
My hometown Morristown TN.. mom moved here in June 1969. I grew up on the East side of Morristown. The area that you're walking used to be where Triangle Pacific Cabinet company in the early 90s used to be. I work there as a spray operator for 2yrs.
Went to downtown today and what a huge disappointment. Very run down and most of it is empty. Tweakers are everywhere so leave your car at your own risk. The only thing i saw worthwhile was the brewery, very nice place.
I have lived here my whole life and have yet to see "tweekers" all over the place downtown...because they aren't there. Most are just homeless and go to the local soup kitchen for food. The "tweekers" hang out at Fred Miller park.
We love it here. Thank you

I'm thinking of moving there. Do you get tornados?

Tweakers dont be doin to much but just be there really😂
A lot of them hang around close to the Daily Bread community kitchen. It’s a ministry that feeds the poor or homeless. Good people.
