Great saves man, that reaching back with the stick was nasty haha. I know the warm ups are usually short in those leagues. If you can afford to be at the rink early and warm up/stretch before you actually hit the ice, it could save you a groin/knee injury over time. Such a simple habit could impact your hockey carreer quite a bit. Keep it up Sam !
Okay I gave you some crap on the last video about being too good for your league, so in the interest of fairness I'll say that this looks about right! Some great saves to keep your team in it. They never feel quite as good when you let in a bad one but I'd say you definitely made up for it.
Hey I watched you old go pro goalie “the greatest goalie save” and I was wondering what go pro setting do you use? (I own a go pro HERO 9 and I use the activity setting)
@@ThePuckStopsHere it's scary because if they have someone that can shoot ripping a shot from the point that'll clock them in the head oh man it ain't good.... Spend money on a good mask tendies they protect your head if you don't please don't wear a jock either 😂
Honestly they could be a bit like myself and not know any better. I wore that helmet when I started playing again after a long 8 year break. never knew how bad it was because I didn't look into it at all. Then starting looking at getting some upgrades, so I looked at helmets and that when I found out how bad they are... Now I have an actual helmet lol
@@SeanMackYo There should be a little more emphasis on the safety aspect of goaltending regarding gear by shops coaches refs etc... I get it not everyone can splurge 800+ $ on a mask but there's always good second hand options available where a foam and strap replacement as a rejuvenation project makes that mask new again. Also who doesn't love tinkering with gear?

I recently invested in a roller, so I am trying to use the before each game as well as stretching.

I don't understand goalies that (I am basing this off of the opposing goalies helmet) play with 90's Itech widowmakers as their helmets....
I don't know either.. Perhaps they don't get hit in their head enough to justify buying a new bucket.
