I was able to get this game and play it again thanks to this video and having purchased the game years ago, and it being one of the first times yuri voiced Spider-Man then it kinda makes it historic imo
Loved how you referenced Ben Reilly's "resurrection". Ben was my favorite Spidey at the time. I liked him better than Peter. 😁 Also, the part where its changed in Spider-Man 2 when Peter tells Aunt May "don't you dare take this money from me" and Peter tells her "I missed the part where thats my problem". That was cold. 😅 Seriously, SO glad this game is coming back. It was such a great game. My favorite was playing as Spider-Girl/Woman as it was nice to hear more female Spidey voices. i remember the game adding special modes kind of taking inspiration from the comics like back in the day there was this special event for a temporary time where they introduced a whole ass symbiote world and different kinds of symbiotic variants including knull and there were multiple newer variants of venom, scream, carnage, toxic and the worst worst kind of symbiotes we've never heard before and still to this day not even modders know about those variants so gameloft basically pulled something so fuckin badass that it was only a one time thing i could imagine how the actual home of venom was like while playing that mode.
Damn I remember this game, (still have it on my phone) I was a beta tester for it 2 time and got to hang out with the Gameloft NY team at their studio. So cool and people still love this game and are bringing life back into it.
Also shattered dimensions can be considered the launching off point of the Spiderverse, it was the biggest event we had at that point and was the actual story written by the same guy who wrote the comic stories
I can see it be the launching point of spider verse but I would argue that it’s not the same level spiderverse we got in 2014. Unlimited had the grand scale that Spiderverse showed while SD felt more like a self contained story

My favorite discontinued game has to be Star Wars Force Collection. It was a mobile card collection/battle game only done online through the game’s app and my dad and uncle played so we used to talk about it all the time and the different cards we would get or want. It had cards from every movie and discontinued right after rise of Skywalker I think. I was a cool card gaucha game that you could play free to play like my dad, uncle, and I did.
The worst part about this game was even if you have skills you cant play new levels until you have enough character power. And also you cant use character skills until you die and revive that character. And also they were like greedy for money. Almost everything needs that gem or something like that. And always new updates comes and storage increase. Cant do many thing without internet connection.
Thing is that I grew up with this for years and was sad to find out it was gone since I couldn't get the mcu outfits anymore and I wouldn't be able to sink hours into it

a problem i've had having the game from the "installed" section in my phone is that the gacha system didnt wrk anymore and i couldnt pull characters to progress. is this fixed in this version?

My favorite part of this game is reading the background story of every single one of them, I learned a lot of different Spider-Man from this game.
