This interview is a beautiful companion piece to his 1979 film "Camera Buff". The film says everything he's saying here and more while completely flying over the censor's heads because of how cleverly crafted the message is. A shame the same trick dazzles some viewers today. More of them should watch this interview.

This is undoubtedly the first half of 1987. Kieślowski mentions that the film "Blind Chance" has been in cinemas for "a few months". The premiere was on 10.01.1987. "A few months" - so it must be the first, not the second half of 1987.
