Rumors has got to be one of the toughest farces to get right. We did it in 2008 and nothing we did on stage compared to how hilarious the table read was. This really is a hysterical play that can lose it if the right tone is not found.
I have an upcoming audition for this show, and it was so helpful to watch this! Great job to everyone in the cast, as well as the backstage crew, and the director(s). :)
What a great production! The set looks spectacular! Comedic timing was great. I was just cast as Chris and seeing this has really helped me get the timing down. Great job! 🌠
My school’s doing this play in January and I get to play Cassie, however the way I do Cassie is different from this actress, I’m yelling most of the time, but this was also a really great version, it made me laugh, now I can’t wait to be the one on stage
In the opening comment , the commenter is so pedantic they should have covered their hands in mittens when their brain gave this thought so hands couldn't type.
The set was really good but I can't agree on the comedic timing with the actors. Seems very wooden. We did this play at our local community theatre and we made sure that each couple became panicked once they found out everything and that everyone was on pins and needles trying to keep the all the new guests in the dark. Plus ours was very fast paced. This group just seems subdued

I played the role of Ernie Cusack when I was in grade 11, had so much fun!

Great work, guys. Have watched a few other productions of Rumors and probably one of the best I've seen.
Thank you!

In the opening scene , the actress is so nervous she should have covered the speaker when her husband gives the instructions so Dr can’t hear.

Good for you. Your local community theatre can go f themselves and you can go f yourself.
@@gabrielr5464 right back at you, bud.
I’ve been cast as Glenn …. which is my actual name. Is this typecasting?!
Yes Glenn, but there are plenty of Glenn roles out there!
With all due respect, our community group are playing this. Lazy acting.
With all due respect, I don't give a shit about your community group. Lazy commenting.
