As a question, I've seen other sources say that gestroi are a semi-arid species that prefer a 1/3 moist habitat--obviously yours are thriving with the moister substrate, but can I ask what you based that decision on?
These guys are so cool. I am planning to get some soon, my first isopods. I have the enclosure almost ready, just letting the springtails multiply a bit for a few weeks before I buy the Gestroi.
Will do soon. I have a lot of videos line up that I haven’t edited. Thank you for watching and commenting I will let you know when it’s about to dropped
Great video, love your channel. So literally no vegetables either? I have been caring for mine with fish flakes, veggies and just one end damp. Of course leaf litter always but this is very interesting. Thank you I love to learn and will change things so they can do even better.
