I’m super early lol. Already know this will be great, Manny! For QOTD - I don’t really want a giant man Haslab, but if they were to do one I think 2 feet would be good. For tiers they could do a new Wasp, a Yellow Jacket, A growing effect piece, and maybe another figure.
I really like the Toybiz era of Legends. Marvel superheroes " What The" on RUclips got me to buy a lot. I friggin love that series. Golden comedy writing.
Great video xmanny - I like this format. My preference would be a 20 inch Giant Man; Tier 1 - small sized Ant-Man and the Wasp; Tier 2 - Yellowjacket; Tier 3 - WCA Dr. Pym.
Since Legends is doing plastic free packaging, I think it'd be awesome if they did a build a diarama with the packaging. With the Ant-Man wave, do a build a lab with the packaging. A Spider-Man wave? Do a street level or skyscraper diarama. There's so much they could do with that and make the price increase a bit better to deal with since we're getting more. I'd also love to see a classic Yellow Jacket.
X” da man “ Manny Perhaps an odd request but can you do a video of on the new figures and where they belong on the shelves or where you feel they fit the best 🙏🏼💫✨💪🏼. Always a pleasure to watch your take on marvel universe and it’s heroes 💡💫✨
Cool review concept. The ML Goliath in the SDCC set was painted soooo bad. I don't think Giant Man needs to be a Haslab. If he needs to be redone make him a 24 inch deluxe. I'm pretty sure this years Haslab will be X-Men related.
Great review and a fun format! This is a very nice figure. I enjoy watching reviews of old fig that helps me to appreciate the fig even more. I also enjoy just hearing you talk without limiting yourself on time. Too many other reviewers just follow the cookie cutter of talking about accessories, articulation etc and their video last about 10 minutes long. I know you want it to be surprised, but do you think by not mentioning the fig in the title that it may not show in YT search engine? Perhaps, you can change the title a few days later, if this is possible. Just a suggestion.
Hmmmm. I’ll think about it. I’ll follow the numbers closely. If I see it not performing well then I’ll change it. I just love the element of surprise factor. Also, thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I’ll want to do those cookie cutter videos as it saves me time. Other times I just want to talk more sh!t lol. All depends how I feel. Just as long as I say everything I need to say then I’m good. Lol.
Love this random review reminds me of the throwback reviews of shartimusprime with toybiz figures.and tiers I want for a haslab classic giant man would be a six inch giant man classic suit obviously,a hank pym with a lab coat and unmasked head and a yellow jacket(we need it desperately)
I want them to go all out with a classic Hank Pym Ant-Man figure. Lab coat is definitely needed. Would you prefer a fabric coat or the swappable arms method?
Marvel Universe got stronger and stronger till line end. There are so many of those large figures I passed on. I did get three frost giants. I also got the red and black giant man to go with 6” Legend. I wish I had got the full SDCC set. Lots of fun stuff. If they did a Giant Man Haslab I want all the sizes to show growth Antman sized to Giant Man. Tiny 1/2, 2”, 4”, 6”, 12”, and 20”. Not tiers but a $250 complete package. I’ve already collected pieces like that already. Giant Man also is a neat anchor for 60th Anniversary for Avengers. Tiers could be personas.
I agree. Growing effect figures should be a part of the main offer. I’d throw in an 9 inch and 16 inch to fill in those gaps. Then the tiers for personas for sure. I hope a 16 inch Goliath would be a part of that.
I have the blue and red version of this guy and he holds up with the rest of my collection...he's great him and my lights and sound Galactus...the dark version.....and yea I would have loved to get the Haslab one but to get him here would have been close to $650 landed....so these guys work great
A guess I'm wishing here, but these are my ideas for Ant-Man related Haslab, tiers, regular release figures, and deluxe figures. An 18-24 inch Giant Man. 12+ inch Clint Barton Goliath, Erik Josten Goliath, Atlas, Stature, 70s or 80s Black Goliath, Yellowjacket, and 90s Giant Man. 6 inch classic Wasp, Yellowjacket, early 2000s Scott Lang Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady's first Ant-Man suit, Rita DeMara Yellowjacket, Hank Pym Wasp, West Coast Avengers Hank Pym, and Hank Pym Ultron. Including 3.75 inch and micro figures for all shrinking characters. Or lower level villains like an updated and shirtless Whirlwind, Porcupine, Grizzly, ect.
Don't know if I want a Giant Man , Goliath, etc . I'd like a Comic Book accurate Celestial and Eternals . Maybe Destroyer and Norse figures . Devil Dinosaur and Kazar and other Savage Land figures .
20 inch giant is a good size and I would like for them to do the Avengers like the MK1 iron man in gold, the new wasp, new hulk with a new body mold. And either a Loki classic but with sculpted chain male on his chest.
Bet! That would be great. If they make a new Hulk body mold, I hope he has butterfly joints that can make his arms move forward enough to pose a Thunder clap. Last one has good range to move back but nothing forward. They’ll have to cut into the pecs more like imports do for their bigger bodies.
With all the talk of the upcoming Avengers Haslab now, it seems unanimous that everyone thinks either a Quinjet or Giant Man, with most people leaning towards Giant Man because Hasbro might not want to risk another vehicle so soon. I agree with you though. I see everyone championing for Giant Man, without fully explaining why. If Haslabs are going to be $400, then I absolutely do not want it to be Giant Man. I don't want a core Avenger to be locked behind that price tag, just so they can justify him being 30" tall. We've been waiting years for a large Giant Man, and I would hate if they did this. There's no reason why he should be the same size as the Sentinel. I would want him in the 14"-18" range. If they can give us a Surtur or Super Adaptoid (12") for $60-70, then they should be able to make a 14"-18" Giant Man for $90-120. I think many more people would be happy with something like that. Happier than they would a $400, 30" Hank Pym. Plus, if they do it this way, then it opens the doors for repaints. Bill Foster Goliath, Hank Pym Goliath, Yellowjacket, Raz Malhotra, Atlas, etc. They could even use this body for characters like Living Tribunal or Frost Giants, with little new tooling. Again, making Giant Man a Haslab completely closes the doors on all these possibilities. If they're bent on making it a Haslab then it better not be more than $180, and even still, it'll need to have cool, unique accessories. I hope Hasbro isn't so set on all Haslabs needing to be $400. Transformers does it for $170, not sure why we can't get Legends Haslabs like that. Like I said, something like Frost Giants or Giant Man are perfect for a project like that. Again, I think it makes more sense to make them wide release, but if they have to do a Haslab, this is how they should do it.
They missed a huge opportunity when they did they brought back the 12” line a few years ago to do figures like this again. This guy for sure needs a re-do as this body was terrible when it released lol.
In the comics he didn’t grow Galactus level talk anyway. Both look really good imo when posed with the other Avengers. Growing effect would be great for giant and antman/wasp. People Army build so why not size build for growing and shrinking?
Exactly. I believe the tallest he ever grew was at 100 ft. And you’re right about army building. I know some people wouldn’t mind the same figure in different sizes but you always get those collectors that will oppose that.
@@Xmanny87 Hasbro has made so many things that people object to already. They may as well try one of our ideas. A 6 inch Wasp figure with wings without various sizes to show her shrinking makes no sense. She doesn’t even have wings at full size in the comics but she does as a figure. They should charge more and let the buyer get 3-5 sizes of the same figure at once or sell the sizes separately. I’d buy them.
Larger comic figures we also need from Hasbro Marvel Legends: Surtur, YMir, Mangog, The Destroyer, Ultimo, Bi-Beast, Dormammu, Cyttorak, an updated Fin Fang Foom, Shuma-Gorath, Devil Hulk (Hulk’s father… but NOT gonna happen 🙄), Santanish (again, I know. NOT gonna happen 🙄, but still wishful thinking 🤷♂️) and maybe even throw in an updated giant Apocalypse (I’m content with the Hasbro B-A-F Apocalypse, though). Is there any other super large sized characters I didn’t mention? 🤔
Sounds good. Yeah there’s plenty of larger characters in Marvel. Ultimo, Celestials, Monster Of Badoon, Devil Dinosaur, Living Tribunal, Ego, Eternity, Onslaught, Fin Fang Foom, Giganto, Krakoa, Apocalypse Beast, Kraken, Kronos, Cyttorak, Atlas, Terminus, etc. there’s just a slew of them that I can name but here’s just some. Lol
@@Xmanny87 Definitely. I also forgot to mention an updated comic Hulkbuster Iron Man armor. And personally, I’d like an updated Sasquatch, Wendingo, Xmenu and Man-Thing because I wasn’t satisfied with those figures at all. They just were disrespectfully undersized in height and bulk. And Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team should already know they did us dirty with that undersized Abomination and Ch’od. I didn’t forget! 😒😂😂
I don’t think a giant man really makes sense for a haslab. Especially, if you have a giant man baf. The baf is tall enough. I feel like a haslab project has to be something that there’s such a low percentage of being made to warrant a haslab. But then again it’s hasbro so nothing makes much sense. 🤷♂️ nice discussion piece.
No, ... Giant-Man/Goliath could be 12-13" ... !! He doesn't have to be really large...!! ...and he could be a 6" .... and a small figure...!! I would be happy with that.!! Three figures!!
We are long, LONG overdue for a modern Legends Yellowjacket and Giant-Man, a HasLab would be a great opportunity
I absolutely agree 101%
It's great seeing the older figures getting some love. Cool idea looking forward to seeing some more.
