Great Review BC! Personally, the weathering is too much for me and the color gradient looks off so I'm wondering if they'll do another one more along the lines of the Tamashii Nations paint app.

Since I got the Tamashi pair and the 2 hot toys r2s this and the AOTC will round 3po out for me! The money grab will be a Rise of Skywalker one with red eyes and a Babu Frick. Reuse parts from the mandolorian and this.

A 12" Hasbro/Disney store C3PO and a Hot Toys $400 C3PO is the same thing in my eyes. Blur your eyes and you see a gold shape. I have no interest in OT 3P0. However the AOTC version is a very unique piece. It's what I would call a museum piece. It invites you in to look as each panel and the unique weathered details. This is the 3PO I own and it is incredible. Best figure of 2023 (only because it is the only 1/6 I purchased in 2023).

In hot toys defense, c3po had a more orange gold colour in this film which I was never a fan of and the reason I’m skipping this one
There will be a more golden chrome chrome version imo just have patience it will come 100%
