  • We are working with Campbelltown City Council, the University of Sydney and Habitat Innovation and Management to investigate artificial and supplementary hollows for Gang-gang Cockatoos and other hollow nesting birds.
Our honours student Liam Doherty has been observing a host of different species using these both natural and artificial hollows. Here there is a Sugar Glider inspecting a supplementary hollow (a natural hollow that has been felled from another tree, capped and installed on site) that is already occupied by Eastern rosellas and their chicks.
