Thanks for the video walk-through. Have you had experience with keywords, etc for Google Play? What is your take on them?
Yes, the keywords for Google are that much more important. Not only for discovery on Google Play Books but when someone 'googles' your author name and book title. You can easily adjust the keywords and description and one tip I've heard is to make sure you have a keyword rich log line as the first line of your book description for Google Play.
thank you! super helpful and straightforward. my question is around page count. do you enter the page count from your original manuscript? mine is an ebook. it's 110 pages typed in Word start to finish including front and back matter (without the cover). i created my epub file formal in Scrivener, but obviously the page count differs depending on what format or preview i view it in (tablet, phone, etc.). what page count do you use?

I'm not sure. This specific book is in an exclusive audiobook deal via ACX, the audiobook is only available via Amazon, Audible, and Apple.
Is there formatting guidelines for text and images? My book was rejected and I'm suspecting poor format of such (Google didn't specify).

I would suggest StreetLib, they were created for authors in Europe, Middle East, and African countries as well as some in Asia. You should be able to distribute to the major retailers from their platform
I have a novel published on KDP. If I make a few minor changes to the content before uploading the ms, can I still use the same ISBN number for the new Google Play version?
Yes, if it is only minor changes you can still upload a new file but use the same ISBN
If I have photos in my print book, would you suggest doing an ebook?
Yes, you can still do an eBook. But I suggest working with a formatter to make sure to images are placed correctly and that the file size isn't too big. The bigger the file size the less you earn in royalties.

I had issues with the Genres tab. For the BISAC, my list ended somewhere in the Bs. I saw that you typed in "Fiction." How did you discover more categories?

Hi. If a novel only has 30,000 words, how much should I sell it for on the Google Play Store?
I'd suggest looking at other novellas on the platform to see how much they are charging. usually a novella is priced lower than a full length novel
