- In this vlog, we travel to Walnut Grove, Minnesota for the Little House on the Prairie (LHOTP) TV Cast Reunion. We also visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and gift shop, saw the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant, explored Walnut Grove (including eating at Nellie's cafe), and visited the Ingallses original Plum Creek dugout site. I also got to meet an online friend, Dotty there as well. I didn't get any video with her, but she was super nice!
The stars that attended the reunion this year were:
Dean Butler as "Almanzo Wilder"
Alison Arngrim as "Nellie Oleson"
Charlotte Stewart as "Miss Beadle"
Sidney Greenbush as "Carrie Ingalls"
Wendi Lou Lee as "Grace Ingalls"
Radames Pera as "John Sanderson Jr."
Pamela Roylance as "Sarah Carter"
David Friedman as "Jason Carter"
Lindsay Kennedy as "Jeb Carter"
Hersha Paraday as "Alice Garvey"
and Stan Ivar as "John Carter"
were not able to make it, unfortunately,
even though they were scheduled to.

Hi everyone. I know it's been over a year since I uploaded this video, but many of you still seem to be watching and enjoying it. I have noticed the comments about the video's shaky quality, though, and I wanted to let you all know that my little sister did a lot of the recording as well, and she wanted me to make that clear. Vlogging while walking around with an amateur camera isn't necessarily easy, especially when you're trying to do/see lots of things at once, yet we are taking note of how to improve in the future. Thank you for all of the kind words and I hope that you all continue to enjoy this video! Please be kind to each other, and stay safe!
Some of the main actors and actrsses of this film have passed away, but their roles are still remembered forever.. Jesus is with you Jeninifer😊
Manny of the main Characters from the Show are still alive.
I am sad that much of the cast has passed away. I loved all the actors from Little House On The Prairie. It is the greatest show in the whole world.
You were so lucky to see and meet the surviving cast of Little House On The Prairie. This is my most favorite show. I have all the seasons on blu-ray. I love it to death!
Just the music gives me goosebumps😍. It is an emotional experience.
Agreed! Yes it is every time I hear the music.
I still watch little house on the prairie and I love it
I still watch little house on the prairie. It brings back a ton of childhood memories.

I love little house I have been watching for ever. Late at night or middle of the day I just get lost in all the shows!! Thanks for all the reruns.
After many years I still love to watch The Little House in the Prairie. I just love it. It's the best series of films ever! It teaches many values of life that nowadays are getting lost. The Ingalls Family is the best example of family. I got so affectionate to the actors that I feel sad that many of them have passed away even if not very old like Michael Landon and Victor French. They were the best, as well as Katherine McGregor. It's also sad seeing the surviving actors all so different. Time passes! That's life. Anyway, I got so identified with the life of the Ingalls.. that for me they are an existing family. I would like to think they really exist and are still so young... Watching the episodes makes me feel as I were there too, living in that beautiful prairie and then that wonderful music... is so touching for me... I would have loved that Walnut Grove really existed... it would have been wonderful to visit all the houses of the village. But now nothing of it exists anymore, there is only the prairie.... So the last reunion of the actors was in 2019 as I see in the video. Wow, you got to see them! How lucky you are having met many of the actors. Do you think there will be another reunion this year? How do we get to know if there will be another reunion? In which website should I see? Who could I ask!? It would be a dream come true getting to meet them. I live in Italy and my son who will get married this year will go to California for the honeymoon it would be wonderful to know if in that period there might be another reunion of the Cast of The Little House.... At least he could see them if not me... In which area of California is Blue Sky Movie Ranch? Where is Plum Creek? Was the reunion of the video you published in that area?
Hi there! To answer your questions, I would recommend keeping an eye on the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum websites for news of different events with the cast, particularly the one in Walnut Grove, Minnesota for the big reunions like the one I went to in this video. I believe they usually do a big cast reunion in Walnut Grove every 5 years, so the next one will be the 50th reunion in 2024 if everything goes as planned and if the museum is in fact planning on another. You could also follow the cast members that have accounts on social media platforms for information about Little House events they may know of, or be participating in. Moving on to your other questions, The Blue Sky Ranch is located in Simi Valley, California. Plum Creek is on the outskirts of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, and yes, that is the area that we were in for most of the video. I hope that this helps! Thanks for watching!
🎉 Merty Christmas to All of you. I lovr your series so much. I was watching it for the first time when I was five years old. Noe I am fifty and I still love watching your series very much. Best wishes, yours Jana 🎉❤LHOTP❤🎉

Thank you!!! I was born in 1972 & I grew up watching this show & to this day it's still my favorite ever! When I was in 1st grade I read the Little House on The Prairie books.
Take care!
1971 here - grew up watching the show too. Many memories watching with my family, good times!
This is so badly done that it must be the worst documentary I have ever tried to watch.
@@per-arnemoa103 Oh negative Nellie 😂 How appropriate. Thank you for the laugh.
They didn't focus the camera on anything long enough to know what they were looking at.
My name is Sara and I love little house helping to go back to my child hood
For me, it was a wonderful report, I felt, as if I was present!
I would probably feel so nervous to meet them . Like shaky .. I know it’s silly as they are normal people , still it would be so emotional
Thank you for this video. I hope that someday, I will be able to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Little House on The Prairie is one of my favorite shows. I still watch today; it brings back many great childhood memories.
Thank you for doing this video. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to visit there.
I’m only watching this video because I know what everything is poor girl seems not to know much of Laura ingalls but it’s nice to go and see it . I went was years back so now everything is RUclips!! Thanks for sharing

That was cool i liked u sharing the traveling seamed like more work getting there than actually getting to be with stars
Need more of it
Thank you for taking us along.
You're welcome!
Why I need to watch the hotel room?
Thats dedication. Walnut Grove is in the middle of nowhere. Did they get paid well, I hope:)?
Me encanto esa teleserial me encantaria que empesaran a darla de nuevo desde el principio desde aca chile
A great experience.
STOP and focus on one thing at a time. It's like fast forwarding through the really cool stuff
You need to learn how to focus on one thing at a time. This spanning made me dizzy had to stop watching it.
Q genial! Amo esta serie. Sería un sueño estar ahi
Woooow....great..!!
You are very fortunate to be able to get the opportunity for such a cool experience and unique reunion of a television cast. My only criticisms are just slow down your camera work...lol. I know the initial experience was probably exciting so wanting to take it all in at one time or not knowing where to begin is totally understandable. And PLEASE stop waving your hand around your face when you are speaking to the camera. 😉 Other than that...you're really adorable and it seems like you put alot of effort and thought into this.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Any hotels you can recommend to stay?
Motel 6.
We're so dizzy we had to stop watching..
hello Jennifer - what became of DAVID FRIEDMAN ? - He does not seem to be in the photo at the end of this video - even though his name is mentioned in text among the stars that were there - of the - LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE - cast ?
He is in the blue shirt in the back row of the group photo, between Pamela Roylance and Radames Pera!
It should be nice to see this place and see the remaining cast..
I would love to meet them
C'est magnifique
I am a braille user. It is not hard to learn braille. If you didn't know print you might wonder how you could read. I hope you have more videos about the places where Laura and her family lived and that you will provide description. 32:46
this actually hurt my eyes with all the herky jerky filming. had to shut it off unfortunately.
I feel DIZZY watching so I quit.
How do you find out about these events...this would be my dream to meet the cast
Keep an eye on the websites of the different museums in the towns where the real Laura Ingalls Wilder lived in her lifetime. Walnut Grove however is where they always have the big reunions and they announce all kinds of information on Facebook as well!
@@jenniferj10 thank you I appreciate the info :)
Hi. Enjoyed your video. Brought back memories growing up watching the show from across the pond in England. Are you on fb or Twitter. Stay safe.
It without melissa gilbert & Melissa sue andreson
Is Willie Olsen and Nancy Olsen in this video?
Unfortunately, the actors for those characters did not come to this reunion.
How did you get to meet the stars or how did you know they would be at the museum and when? Did you win a contest or something to get to meet them?
No, I didn't win a contest. Every five years or so I'm pretty sure they do a cast reunion in the real Walnut Grove , Minnesota. I found out by looking at the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum website for details! The next one should be the 50th anniversary in 2024 if everything goes as planned (and if the museum was planning on hosting another)! :)
@@jenniferj10 Thank you
You were going to fast and the video was blurry. Susie
Do they do this every year? Well of course not this year. But is this something that is a regular thing for the cast?
They do this event every 5 years I believe, so the next one will be the 50th year anniversary reunion in the summer of 2024 if everything goes as planned!
Jennifer J ok thanks.😊
Yah not good. Some editing and using voice overs would have been best. Your video is all over the place I actually started to feel motion sickness. Keep trying to improve, you will get there.
FROM FRANCE...IM VERY ENJOY ABOUT THE MEETING....BUT...FILMING IS TOO SHAKY....
It’s a pity that it’s all so shaky, go buy a gimbal for the next vlog you’ll do ... and all those fast movements and zooming ... sorry, it‘s terrible
I feel dizzy watching this, the camera is shaking too much!
Why are you showing us the bathroom or even your room?
Me dio vuelta todo el vídeo no me gustó mostró todo muy rápido
If u go again get a better phone or camera and love your videos. And love little house on the prairie
You went by everything so fast I was getting dizzy. I really couldn't enjoy it.
Talk about dizzy slow down spinning around. They did NOT live in dugouts they lived in sod homes.the one my grandma lived in as a little girl is on my land.
Also those desks are very very old. I wouldn't be sitting on them they could fall apart.
Not watchable. Chipmonk with a caera.
Give her a break. She's only young. Doesn't need commenting on. Least she can spell. What's caera? If your going to make fun of her camera work then at least spell it right!
Please don't touch everything stuff now
That music at the beginning is awful
My eyes hurts
Terrible production. Hard to watch.
Yeah that's back when real women wasn't afraid to cook fantastic meals and didn't whine about it all the time.
Some died tragically another’s had ED
You went to fast. Could not see.
Very loud unnecessary intro. 🙁
Non so parlare inglese non lo so neanche capirlo quindi non so cosa dicono questi attori famosi
