Audi A3 e-tron had this feature since 2015
Many VW have that feature for a while ;)
2021 models already outdated, thanks VW, I can't believe that for the sake of a few sensors that this feature is not possible for current owners.
I can park smoother than that. Has a long way to go.
My Peugeot 308 does the the same since 2015, what so wow about it? Cumbersome gimmick feature nobody use in real life
Do you have to be in the car ?
I think a few years ago some guy made a video jumping out of the window of his BMW I3 which had an auto park feature also. They probably implemented a "butt sensor" since then
Yes!
@@BatteryLife OK. thanks. I was thinking it would have been good to park into my garage - which is too narrow to get out from the driver's side (I have to crawl over via the passenger seat).
@@bonnaud_dowell But how would you get it back out? ;-)
Hugely disappointed at a basic feature being limited only to cars not yet built. And the ones that have are already obsolete after less than a year of existence. At the same time other VW dinos have this feature and have had it for ages. eGolf, too. The same thing with the WeConnect ID with it's single feature, turning on heating remotely.
I thought I made a good choice going for VW instead of Tesla. Regretting it now. Now I just need to find someone to buy my maxed out ID.3 so I can get a Model Y. Oh well. Lesson learned.
I am not impressed with a software update with a function without any meaning to me as an early ID.3 buyer. I would be more impressed when VW put some effort to add functionality to the (very) crappy "we connect ID" app. I am waiting for more then a year now. VW: a software company they are not.
For free?
Yes
For free... if you paid for it while purchasing vehicle.
It is not standard feature all ID.3s have.
@@BatteryLife i have id3 max built june 2021.four sensor in front and four in back.i have travel assist and use every day.done 20k in 7 month.do i have these features
@@enyaq007 ruclips.net/user/postUgkxjX52MfPItxjFsmcsUolQcMc2m8lWC18f shows where the sensors have to be
1st edition buyers of id3 & 4 get Volkswagen shade.
Hmm I think 1st id4 max has area view. Its only id.3 which got it last year
Nothing new to be amaze of my 2020 Mercedes a class does this already
Nobody said it is new.
This looks awkward; like an old confused driver trying to park 😮
This is totally useless. Nobody will let the car park for 60-70 seconds
This is worthless a worthless update. The disappointment is real. I wont buy a ”promise” of future updates ever again. Owned the car for almost a year and now WHOOA, they are relesing the new update 2.4 that really should be a damn silent fix. How about 3.0? Is really second half of ’22 a ”when”? Besides it seems that most of us will only be enjoying seeing the % of battery since were early adopters and hoping for the higher charge speed to be applicable
