- The time has come! (☆^ー^☆) Let's have a look back at all those great Japanese commercials that 2016 gave us (∩_∩) The selection process was tough again with more than 2200 commercials to choose from so, as I always say, sorry if your favorite commercial was not included! With all the good quality ads in 2016, the compilation ended up being longer than expected but make sure you watch till the end because it is well worth your time ( ＾◡＾)

Around that time, sports anime was at its peak, so this was definitely a hit in that direction. ^_^
The Calorie Mate commercial was actually really really good.
Love the reaction at the end of the last advert. Don't know how many takes it took for her to catch the ball until the end but I'm guessing it was quite a lot!

I felt more connected to some of these commercials without knowing the language than I did with some American films.

In the USA there were only two commercials I really liked this year: The Casper Mattress commercial with the squirrel and the Slack Spaceship commercial. I also liked the rock paper scissors commercial. Nearly everything else was just forgettable or obnoxious. Love the commercials here though.
you should watch Super Bowl ones, is where they put the maximum effort
As in japan they do not have a big event like Super Bowl, and the ones that comes closer are broadcasting by NHK (that is a Public TV and dont have CMs there) so they need do great comercials all year instead in a only day
I've watched a total of maybe 30 minutes of TV this year
