    Geez, that brings back memories. Back in 1970, a gunshop outside of my base sold tons of these for $20, most of them the break-down version. They also sold military surplus survival rifles for $25 each. Those were good times!

    OMG!! This is the first one I have seen since I bought one in the early 90's at a pawn shop for 20 bucks.

    Later versions came in a 22LR/410 break-down models. They were great simplistic guns and excellent for young inexperienced shooters.

    The action is is apparently reffered to as "parallel pivot" by the US patent office. Patents for such a system date back to 1852 but it was seemingly never actually implemented back in the day

    Im almost certain their made out of just straight up cast iron at least thats what mine feels like
