P32 advocates assemble! It really is a great little gun. Mine has eaten every kind of Ammo, runs when it’s dirty and full of lint, and it is the thinnest, lightest little pistol you can find. Great for a back up or deep concealment.

@@dplanet8292 that’ll happen with 25s & 32s hollow points. It’s crazy that the Seecamp 32s actually overtly tell you that this pistol only likes Winchester silver tips. I’d love to see a reliable comparison between the $500-600 Seecamp and the $200 P32

Very good review, and some really excellent shooting. The P32 has been my primary carry gun since I started carrying in 2017. I tried a few others, but kept coming back to it. I just love the low recoil of .32 ACP, and the ease of concealment of the P32. Glad to see a review that gives it respect. People often criticize KelTec quality, but it's hard to beat them for innovation.

I’ve had my P32 for a number of years and it remains my general “go to” firearm for conceal carry, especially in the summer months. It is a “personal defense” weapon, with the emphasis on “personal.” My larger, more powerful handguns are theoretically more lethal in some instances, but my P32 is more than adequate for typical, non-law enforcement situations. You are spot on about using fmj ammo in a .32. Expansion is not desired, penetration is. I even carry fmj in my .380 LCP, not for penetration but for reliability. It is a backup gun for me in lieu of a speedload for a j-frame I carry in my right pocket. I'm not likely to need it but if I do I don't want to risk a jam for the sake of a hollowpoint that may or may not expand.

I was originally looking at the Ruger LCP 2 in .22 for summer concealed carry. But, I have an issue with rimfire ammo in a semiautomatic. I started looking into other centerfire ammo and stumbled across the P32. I watched all the reviews. A friend had the P3AT version. The 380 just doesn’t have enough weight for the size of the ammo. The trigger felt like a staple gun and the gun would hurt your hand after about 2 magazines. What a pleasant surprise the P32 is. Accurate, lightweight & easy to shoot. My wife and I went to a nighttime Wedding in a sketchy neighborhood. I was able to carry it in the inside suit breast pocket.

Another awesome 32ACP ammo for the price are the German GECO FMJs. They are super high quality, accurate and as powerful as the Fiocchi's. Before COVID, Sportsman's Guide was selling them for as cheap as $11 a box for 50 rounds! And I think a couple of times during special sales, they went down to $8 a box. Even at the high prices ammo is now, they're still a great deal after they come back in stock.

I still have it to this day, but it has been replaced by the 2nd gen that doesn't have the incredibly easy-to-lose recoil guild rod doohicky (the new one has no such removable part).

For at least the second time I discovered, today, that I had been "unsubscribed" from your channel against my will. So, I resubscribed and "rang the bell" again. I really liked this video as a friend of mine, a now retired State Trooper, carried just such a pistol as back up to his agency issue Glock 9mm. I think it was in 2005 or '06 that he was attacked, during a traffic stop, and lost control of his Glock when the suspect literally ripped his holster from his gun belt and was in the process of drawing the Glock from the detached holster when my friend pulled his KELTEC .32ACP from his pocket holster and emptied the magazine into the suspect's chest. The suspect was DRT. The ammo used was FMJ 70ish (I don't recall the manufacturer or exact bullet weight I'm sorry to say) grain bullets. The range? Less than three feet. Excellent video as usual.....Even though I now have to play catchup due to being unsubscribed. I wonder if you could do one or more of your excellent evaluations on the Bersa pistols in .380ACP as I'm considering one as a "glove box pistol" and I can't recall the last time I saw such an evaluation on any of the Bersa products from a YT provider that I actually trusted to be honest.

I use the small added +1 mag for carry, with 2 of the 9 round (same as the 10 round in .32) mags for my 2nd and 3rd carry mags. They fill up the hand nicely and make even the more powerful .380 shoot nice in it.

I I put a dab of orange paint on the face of the front sight, using a toothpick, and it helps with quick aiming.

I alternate between, Sig p365, Taurus Gx4, and Keltech p32. I mostly carry the p32. Hardly any recoil. You don't need sights. This is an up close personal, with the bad guy between 5-10 feet away. Awesome gun. I'm getting another p32.

Sorry for your loss. Great video. I don’t own a .32 anymore ( I used to have a NAA .32, and it was a jam-o-matic.). Probably because I used hollowpoint ammunition that didn’t fill the magazine far enough forward). I had heard once or twice through the years about the .32 being a semi-rimmed cartridge, but it didn’t ever sink in that that could have been the reason it was so unreliable. I appreciate your channel because you have common sense explanations of the things that occur during shooting. God bless.

I've been carrying the Kel-tec .380 for 6 years now totally reliable! After shooting approx. 400 rounds have never had a jam or any other hiccups. It's an up close gun 20 to 30 feet max for me. With the small pocket holster it feels like a wallet in my pocket. Enjoyed your vid!👍

Thanks for the video ! only bad thing about the little 25s and 32s are that not many manufacturers are making new guns...and they don't get much smaller than the 380s today. It would be cool to have some little 25acp pistols with doublestack mags in a P365 sized gun, but there are much better more effective options. I almost bought a little 32 Keltec in a pawn shop once for $275-ish.
Thanks for the video Buffalo !

Glad we are on the same page, fmj only on this pistol
My father did have a lock up on his that had to be sent back to keltec. That was 20 years ago
I bet it was the rim lock, He ran FMJ only after that and no more issue.

I'd love to see those buffalo bore .32 acp hard casts tested in gel. Someone somewhere (I forget which channel) has an excellent video on the .25 acp version of those hard casts, but I haven't seen anything on the .32 acp ones, and your gel tests are always really well done and professional.
Edit: All outdoors is the channel I was thinking of.

I had considered the Secamp LWS in .32 acp as a carry gun. But the gun shop only stocked them in .380 acp and I knew the recoil made that model rather hard to handle. So I got an in stock Ruger LCP in .380 which I do like. Loaded weighs 14 ounces.
Had I known of this Keltec model I would have searched for one.

    First off RIP Frogs
Buffalo your one of few that recommends to just run ball ammo in the smaller cartridges. I tried to explain this to a friend of mine when he was looking for hollow point ammo for his Ruger lcp. He didn’t seem to understand what I was trying to explain to him. Or he just wanted to get the fancy ammo idk all i know is I tried to save him some money. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.

I remember the squabbles between you and Frog as to how you got that name. The way I recall, you were out of the shop that day and Frog was trying to come up with a name and said to me "That dang boy is as big as a buffalo" and so it became. The good old days.
Great tribute to the Frog. Thanks for doing what you do Buffalo!! RIP Frog

.32 is a fun caliber, and the perfect one for pocket pistols in my opinion. 380 is too snappy to be very accurate or quick with follow up shots. Not without tons of practice anyways. Even then it won't be enjoyable to shoot... I personally own a Berretta Tomcat. It's chunky and heavy for its size, but that actually lets it fill up my hand nicely for a good solid grip. I'm also a sucker for the way the Tomcat looks over the P-32. That being said, it's hard not to wonder sometimes if I might have been happier with the slimmer, lighter P-32 when it comes to concealed carry... Every choice has advantages and disadvantages I guess!

32 ACP - 73 Grain FMJ - Sellier & Bellot bullets are reputed the best for KelTec P32 because the loaded bullets fill up the space inside the magazine and thereby are much less likely to rimlock.

Good video! There’s just something about content with these underdog calibers ( .380 and below) that I really enjoy… I guess it’s the idea of the carry ability of the tiny guns that makes them so interesting to me… there’s no excuse to not have something with you at all times . I always have at least my LCP original or my LCP max on me because they’re so small it’s unnoticeable

Superb video ... I would not worry about its accuracy at 25 YRDS ..This pistol was designed as a self-defense pistol to be used at close range.
A typical self-defense range is about 5-7 Yards.
A .32ACP would be more than enough to drop a would-be attacker
    Thank you for this video

Great video. Great explanation of rim lock and how to deal with it. I have a P32 (older model) but I carry a P3AT in a Sneaky Pete holster on my belt. When I do practice "panic" shooting, I use one hand; I am not going to put my other hand anywhere near the muzzle of a short barreled handgun. However, you did some serious great distance shooting! Both of my pistols have the side clip so, when I wear a business suit, I carry inside the waistband, clipped onto the belt.

My one and only (so far, and I hope it stays this way) KABOOM was with my p32. As far as I can tell it fired out of battery and cracked the slide and frame, I still have the bits floating around. It was too bad, I really liked how thin it was, actually a noticeable difference from the LCP I replaced it with.

Yes, shoot FMJ in any 32 pistol. Penetration counts. FMJ penetrates better than HP and 32 doesn't have the velocity to expand HPs anyway. Seriously, no fancy rounds, just 71g FMJ and you'll be fine (as fine as you can be with a 32 anyway).
