A Brief Introduction to Philosophies of Science

The philosophy of science is a discipline that includes hundreds of high-intellect professionals who study and debate philosophical issues. This brief introduction is very brief and a very "rough" overview. I am not a philosopher, nor do I suppose to survey the entire domain in 18 minutes. I recorded this video to assist the students in my experimental design class. The "Chapter 1" that I reference at the beginning is Chapter 1 of Maxwell and Delaney's "Designing Experiments and Analyzing Data" textbook. Our goal was to establish a rational foundation for further study on this topic.
