I remember when we went to collect broom we use gloves to protect because their leaves and everything are very sharp as knives esp after it's rain you can't touch that so easily you cannot move freely once you are in they will attack you anywhere so be careful with them

For us we have no other use but for cleaning purposes of the broomstick..but outside of our state it is use to make incense sticks and others if not wrong...so they have to first dry so that they'll be worth more if they sell
