    that's pretty cool. A guy down the river was fishing this "super duper spoon" looked like he was ripping lips with a pair of fingernail clippers it was crazy to see how some different stuff works for these goofy fish!

      Good stuff as always. I never thought to take the barrel n snap apart lol I'm doin that next time fosho... does it still keep the line from twisting without the barrel?

    • @SHH_Fishing
      @SHH_Fishing  2 года назад

      @@zeebee3606 That Kastmasters just kinda wobble so line twist is not a regular threat. As for the snap with out the swivel, yes the line still twist, but the braided line is not really affected by the twist. And as long as you anticipate it, you can just straighten it with your fingers from time to time...
      Nothing is perfect🤣🤣🤣

    Found a single hook also helps you avoid snags (or at least get less of them) if theres a lot of rocks around and stuff that the lure can fall through, the treble can almost act as a grapple hook and you'll spend most your time trying to pluck yourself out of rocks. Also, try the "Thomas" brand spoons, especially the E.P.!

      That's Awesome,
      I can't imagine how many fish you must have called on one of them 🤣
      The single hook seriously reduced the amount of snags I get when balancing it close to the bottom,
      And it also allows for a much cleaner release with the fish.
      Hope you enjoy !

    • @SHH_Fishing
      @SHH_Fishing  Год назад +2

      I Typically Do Not With Spoons...
      But If I Do I, I Place The Swivel Roughly 12-14" Up The Line...
      If you're planning on interchanging spoons and spinners, a swivel is not a bad idea.
      Also, if I need to add weight I might put a split shot right above the swivel to get the spinners down a little deeper.
      The spoons drop pretty quick so you don't usually need weight with a Kastmaster.
