Great review. I've owned my CCX (18" frame) for 1.5 years. It weighs 65lbs which is not bad when considering the 11 pound battery it carries. In my opinion, it is a far better ebike than the Rads and Aventons and Ride One Up ebikes. To my knowledge it is the only ebike which includes both the torque sensor and cadence sensor, giving you the option of how you want to ride. A BIG selling point that gets overlooked by all the critics. For the record, I weight 160 pounds and have managed to get 112 miles on a single charge using only ECON mode riding an average speed of about 10 to 15 mph using pedal assist (minimal use of throttle). That's phenomenal 😊. I have also managed to reach 30mph in race mode in the highest gear in flat wind, level ground. I do not understand why the critics are not raving more on the Juiced lineup of models offered. For a company that's been around since 2009, it deserves much more recognition than it's getting.
Great job! I’m an owner of the Juice Scorpion and have decided to upgrade my battery to the 52V, 19.2 amp version. I’ve had my bike for a little over 4 years and currently have the same battery as you do. I’ve decided that I need more range. Thanks for your video. 😮
We bought 2 Specialized Turbo Como bikes 2 weeks ago. Bought from Mill Race Cyclery in Geneva, IL. They made sure everything was working and ready. We wanted a place to take the ebikes for maintenance. They’re a ton of fun.
So much fun! Just got back from a quick 14 mile loop. I’m really looking forward to riding through the fall. The weather and scenery are beautiful. Have fun on your bikes and thanks for dropping a comment.
I just got the same exact one yesterday same color... my second ebike but wow, such a high quality ebike, people will respect you when they see you riding it
I was looking at this bike but ended up buying a Ride1Up 700 series. Slightly smaller battery about the same weight , size and range.. I had a few problems, service was slow but they did get back to me. Recently I started using power level 0 after I reach speed and top gear. I've done a few big grades which was sme work but well worth it when I got to the crest and started down hill. looked like some pretty country and canals look like fun flat rides.
Hey H.A. you may have underestimated the range somewhat. According to the Juiced battery chart (for a nominal 52V battery, 100% at 58.8V) you had nearly 30% of battery left at 46.9V. I had a different issue with my rear wheel and Juiced was very happy to send me a new one (over the winter). They sent me packaging and a prepaid shipping label to return my wheel. I found that my controller did not have the correct cruise control software, they sent me a new controller. When I couldn't find a way to have it installed locally, I did it myself and they sent me a free credit for products at their site. Overall, especially if you call them, I found their service to be very helpful and responsive. Email isn't their best method, but phoning gets the job done.
Yea Ordered mine April 1st last yea stacked coupons and sale too got it for $1899. Mine was damaged in shipping too. Rack was crushed down bent it up real good but didn't seem to mess with the tire it just bent rack to heck. Contacted them and they were super good gave me $75 refund for rack and sent me out the rack when they got some in stock. I felt like I won the lottery basically $1830 for a CCX. Specially now it had the price hike. 52 don't own car so this bike really changed my life for real. I don't even think about not going out now, I just go if I want to go somewhere. 275 lbs max for bike listed lbs and I've went 43 miles on mine no problem. I was shocked. I use mine in R most of the time cept when I went on that long trip. Like you I had it in ECO. One day I went into local bike shop and seen bikes with specs of a CCX.....$5000-6000 lol.
That range is incredible ! I have a Juiced Scrambler(same motor and display it looks like but I could be wrong). Once you get under 50% those battery bars go a lot faster than the 1st 1/2 did. I always carry my charger just in case.
Awesome video, thank you for sharing, back in the day 1970s we would canoe the Delaware river from balls Eddy- New York, to Digman‘s Ferry, 33 1/2 miles of class three and four white water, we camped out along the way, that used to be a blast we would do it every other weekend we also one time went out to snake river canyon Colorado, and we went white water rifting that took four days camped along the way just my brother and I.. I know we drank a lot of water on the trip, that was class five and higher white water. But getting back to biking in 1982 I had a Panasonic sport deluxe 27 inch frame it was made out of an aluminum alloy the bike weighed 15 pounds, and cost $350 in those days that was a lot of money for a bike, it was the largest light weight aluminum bike on the market because I am 6‘4“ tall and at the time weighed 170 pounds we would go from Norristown PA all the way down to Atlantic City and back it would take us about 14 hours we were doing about 31 to 35 miles an hour, slower here and there, That was before E-bikes where in existence, we would do that once a month year round weather permitting we had some good times, the bike tires weren’t that good in those days so we fixed a lot of flats along the way my brother-in-law had a nylon sidewall each time he would get a blowout he would have to stitch it with the needle and thread I don’t believe they make them anymore they were a pain in the ass,, anyway thank you for the video I really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing more videos with you and your juiced up bike, I am looking at an E bike to buy but I am looking at (Bolton bikes) fat wheels, take care and God bless…!!!
Thank you for this nice comment and cool stories. Sounds like you guys had some real fun. I also spent many days and some nights on the river. great memories. I’m 6’4 180 so i’m in the same boat as you. Good luck with your bike search. They are alot of fun!
I purchased a CrossCurrent X a couple of months ago and right out of the box there were about a dozen rear spokes loose and the wheel had a bad wobble in it. I contacted Juiced and they sent me an entire rear wheel but when it arrived it was damaged because it was packaged incorrectly. I sent that back and they sent me another rear wheel and it was a real challenge to remove and replace it and you need a special wrench, which I had to get from them. After installing the new wheel, the rim was fine but the brake disc was warped. I took the brake disc off the original wheel and put it on the new wheel and it was fine. The new wheel was not warped at all. However, after one ride a few of the spokes came loose and I tightend them snug and just that little bit of tightening caused the wheel to have a slight wobble in it again. Another issue are the squeaks and rattles. Most are due to the rear fender hitting the down tube and the underside of the rear rack. I solved both of those rattle problems with strategically-placed foam. The bike performs well enough and once I got into the customer service system, I had a good experience with a lady named Danielle. I am worried about the overall quality of the bike long-term. And even with the battery removed it is a very heavy bike and somewhat of a struggle to lift up onto a rear rack. If I had it to do over again, I would not purchase this bike.
This story sounds very similar to my experience. I have been working all summer to get a new rear wheel from them. Mine also arrived bent. After many emails (with 10-15 DAYS in between responses) they are shipping me some new parts. I’m hoping they arrive in good shape. As for the special wrench needed for assembly…that figures. We’ll see what parts arrive and how it all goes. Maybe time for a follow up video. Thanks for your response, I’m sure it helps people thinking about buying a juiced bike.
Thank you for this real world experience post. I am/was seriously thinking about this bike because on paper it looks like an absolute winner. It ticks all the boxes. And sometimes things are a true gestalt -- where the total is greater than the sum of the parts. But other times it's the exact opposite, where the sum of the parts detracts from the total experience. And it definitely sounds like this bike fits into the latter category, unfortunately. Back to the drawing board.
Don't know if you got a bike yet, but I'm putting an average of 100 miles a week on a Priority. Seems to be very quality, so far. Also can add 2nd battery.
I got my CCX back in 2019 and absolutely love it but it is still no car replacement for where I live. It is great for short trips around town, but getting out of town here will eat 50-60% of the battery alone. The first long distance ride I made with the CCX was to meet other riders out of town. The plan was to cheat a bit by using the lightrail system to get to the edge of town/suburbs and pedal from there. But as I was riding to the station, I just realized how heavy the bike was with my paniers bags and didnt want to embarrass myself by failing to lift the bike for the two steps it takes to enter the lightrail. I decided to ride the bike all the way which was a 35 miles one way trip. I was so pleased with the bike performance as the battery was still at 80% when I arrived. I rode another 5 miles around bars, and everyone in the group said I was cheating with an ebike. But when it came to heading back home, everyone else just loaded their bikes back into their car/SUV to drive back LOL. For my return trip, I was getting some serious anxiety upon the realization that the way back home is a gigantic 35 miles uphill with about 2,500ft+ elevation with headwind. I was maybe 10 miles into my return trip and the battery dropped down to 40% already. I wasn't sure what happened but that battery indicator didnt seem reliable or linear to me at that point. I went on ECO mode, and the battery miraculously stayed on one or two bars until the end of the trip. The bike has a few quirks but it is one of the very ebikes with such a huge battery (1kWh) at the time. Even now, most big brands only offer 750Wh batteries at best with exorbitant prices.
Thanks for your range experience. I have ridden the canal from Trenton to Downtown Easton and back on a gravel bike and it’s a great route. I would assume overall rider fitness and a smoother terrain, such as all pavement, would be big factors in more or less battery range. I’m sure a strong avid cyclist on pavement could see even more range.
Thats awesome. I think there is a point where fitness eliminates the point of the ebike, especially in the lowest assist modes. In that mode the motor is basically cancelling the weight of the bike…and the bike is heavy. When i ride my modern cannondale after this ebike its striking how light and agile it is. I like the motor to help cancel the big hills. That is a really neat thing to me. Thanks for watching!
By the way, I’m originally from Philly, but never been to Easton. I’m also a big boxing fan and recall Larry Holmes being from that area. I enjoyed the tour. Great NE landscape . . .
I have that bike also. My back wheel had 3 really loose spokes with 4 miles on it but a good bicycle shop fixed it up pretty well. So far so good. Did your fenders come with the bike or did you install them yourself. And did the rear rack come from Juiced? That bike does perform well. 60 + miles is about my longest ride with three bars left. Thanks!!
Sometimes the tire is out of round, or a cheap inner tube inflated more in one area. I had that issue on a moped with mags. It didn't matter how many times I deflated and reset the bead. The inner tube would always inflate more on one side as I reached pressure. Had to buy a new inner tube.
All I have is the perspective from the short clip in your video, but that wheel looks bent/dented to me. I suspect the box got dropped in shipping (especially when the tire was not inflated) which dented the wheel, and this would also explain why some of the spokes were completely loose (I'm sure the spokes were at least sorta tight when the wheel was assembled). Juiced *should* send you a whole new wheel, but with their lackluster customer support it's probably not very likely that they will. It's especially tough since it's the rear wheel and the hub includes the motor.
I think you may be correct. It’s likely a combination of the two. It is surely unbalanced due to the loose spokes and likely also bent from shipping damage. The local bike shop will tell me for sure. Then comes the process of getting the replacement parts. ughh
wouldn't say i'm new to cycling but as far as cycling in longer distances yes, i am indeed fairly new, neighbor's brother has this same bike and let's me borrow it to where i have it in my garage now, love this thing, the distance is nuts and i still have full bars of power going halfway to San Francisco from San Jose, would like to know if you still can get ahold of customer service today if you need repairs done or whatnot since they are going out of business now. Customer support is the only reason why i am skeptical in purchasing for myself
Great video, thank you for sharing. Curious, what was the squeaking noise on the video? The fender supports? Also, were you able to get the wheel issue resolved? Thank you. :)
Yes, That squeaking is the fender. Seems to happen much more when I take one hand off the handle bars to film. It must throw the balance off. Tech support did get back to me. They instructed me to take it to a local shop (they didn’t suggest one) and get the repairs done. They specified that they would cover the repairs and also offered parts if it turned out I needed them. The problem is all the bike shops around here are 2 weeks wait for service. If it is a slightly bent rim who knows how long it would take juiced to get the part to me. I’m imagining it could be a month long saga (and right in the heart of riding season). The electric bits on the bike are great…it’s the mechanical “bike parts” i’m having issues with. Bummer.
@@hell0all I know the Juiced fenders are kinda cheap plastic, but I have nice metal fenders on my bike and the front one also shakes/rattles if I ride one handed. I suspect there is just more undamped oscillation of the front wheel (small enough that we don't notice with our hands) that causes the fenders to shake a lot. I guess what I'm saying is that (in my experience) fender rattle when riding one handed is impossible to avoid unless you build some sort of mega stiff (and probably heavy) front fender.
You may be able to get rid of the fender rub by getting some small parts at a hardware store to move it up and away from the wheel by a small amount. *Also I assume the bike does not regenerate power back to the battery when going down hill or pedaling on a flat without any assist?
Thanks for the informative video. Easton looks hilly. Seems as a kid I'd go watch sports cars do hill climbs in Scranton.I think thats near you. I thnk the bike manufature should respond quicker for sure. Thats a negative for them and I take note of that. I feel the wheel may have been damaged in shipping, was the box impacted? You should take advantage of the offer to have your local bike shop true the wheel at the expense of the bike manufaturer.. I enjoyed your narration and very informative distance challenge. Your ride is incredible along that canal. Thanks again and happy e bike riding.
Yes,very hilly indeed. Scranton is about an hour north of here. Since this video the manufacturer has made good on a fix. A complete new wheel fully assembled. Works wonderfully but took many weeks to arrive there. Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words.
It’s a bummer. Rim could be either unbalanced or bent. That unbalance might be messing with the brake alignment? Maybe find a local bike shop to see what they think. Then follow up with Juiced and see what they can do. After 2 months they sent me a new rear wheel assembly. It was great and fixed everything. But it took 2 months… Good luck.
@@hell0all Did the new wheel have any loose spokes? I actually fixed my scraping by re-aligning the brake calipers by loosening them, squeezing the brake handle, and re-tightening while squeezing. The rear fender was also a bit out of alignment so would sometimes touch the tire. I adjusted the fender stays to fix that as well. So, perhaps I can now just keep an eye on the rear wheel. When I visually look at it while spinning, it doesn't seem nearly as out of true as yours was in this video.
Looks like a nice ride - great video.👍 Good to know about Juiced customer service. Have you ever tried it in "R" mode; supposedly it makes the bike Class 3 (28 mph).
need to true the wheel, take it to your bike shop; yes I have a juiced bike too my battery connectors started melting, keep an eye out for that because it will happen. No reply from them either, sent them pics and still waiting, regret buying from them.
I have just over a thousand miles on my CCX (Cross Current X). I haven't been good about tracking my battery life, but last week I went 81.6 miles (over several days) with two bar left on my battery. Mostly ECO mode, using 1 for a small hill, throttle between a few intersections, and head light on a couple evening rides. The only issue I've had with my CCX is the semi-metallic brakes pad were noisy, so I swapped them with ceramic pads. It's been a great bike.
Thats awesome. I’ll look into that brake pad swap. Juiced is sending me some new parts as we speak. I’m really hoping that solves all my issues. Thanks for watching.
Got the CCS2 a year ago, and I had the same issue with the spoke! My wheel had to be replaced because it was so out of wack. Luckily I bought mine through a third party which had excellent customer service, so replacement was easy. I was pissed when I had to walk it home a mile and a half. After all that was resolved, Ive put a bunch of miles on it without issues. I was wondering if you resolved your issue, and also if youve run it as a gravel bike? I have a set of 700x45 riddlers on mine, and I take it gravel riding, and it performs super well. I find that I can run it on race mode, and go about ten miles on a full charge, but have gotten up to 30 on a local trail with about a quarter left, but that was on 3. I'll be sure to test it on one and eco mode to test the distance. Have you done a followup video to this?
Really enjoyed your review and real word test of the bike. I'm at the point where I'm still trying to decide whether or not i will benefit from an ebike, there are just so many choices at so many pricepoints that it is overwhelming. I almost pulled the trigger on the CrossCurrent S2 but decided I will wait and just learn as much as i can and demo as many as i can before a purchase. Did you have any other contenders before you decided on the X?
A lot of my decision was based on my height. I needed an company with an xl size frame. That eliminates most of the more affordable contenders. I also really like the sleeper look of this bike. Just a casual look as you ride by and you may not even realize it’s powered. Which lets me use all roads and paths with little issue. It’s a great way to get around, so much fun!
Small world I live across the river from you! I’m always riding on the D&L. I’ve been looking at a few Ebikes lately, not sure which one to get. How’s your bike holding up?
It’s holding up nicely. I’m closing in on 500 miles. Customer service solved my wobbly wheel issue finally so i’m feeling pretty good about it. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
I'm looking into Juiced because I live in the San Diego area, and I'd like a local manufacturer. California is going to start subsidizing e-bike purchasing in 2023, but you have to buy from a local seller. So that $750 voucher might not make up for going direct to consumer.
The thing is, how far can one's butt last, as I'm not sure how many 5.5 hour rides I'll be taking, but yes another battery would take any returning fears away indeed.
@@dalewatkins9889 The seat is actually pretty nice. This trip was just to see what it could do. 99% of my trips will be within 15 miles. Thanks for watching!
@@hell0all Consider a Cloud 9 seat - ebikes let you ride far longer than dinosaur/analog bikes and my posterior feels those extra miles. I even put a Cloud 9 on my Bafang Ultra emtb - looks goofy as heck but my butt thanks me every long ride. Interestingly, even with knobby tires, I get similar 60mike range with my 48v 21ah battery when riding relatively flat trails. If I had more road-friendly tires should be even better. I have a long super-steep 15-20% grade to my house and I need level 4/5 on my Ultra mid drive to make it (hub motor would never make it) - need at least 10% battery or that climb drains it. I've pulled into my house on a fumes after 60mile trail rides. I'd dread having to push a 70# bike up a 20% grade.... Doesn't the CCX have walk mode to get up stairs? Did you get that wheel fixed? Did you need a new wheel? Did Juiced reimburse you?
If you are getting a biked shipped direct to you and you are unfamiliar with these simply put it together and have a bike shop check it over before you take it out ... they will catch things like spoke tension and such -- I mean sure if you got it new like this then yeah that is something the manufacturer needs to deal with... If not I mean come on you are getting a ebike on the cheap -- I had a HAIBIKE S Treking 9 and that one was double the cost of this but yeah ... the only problem I had with it was when I snapped the chain and I put near 1000 miles on it... there has to be a point where you can expect some pains ... Bikes when used every day develop issues ... there is no such thing as maintenance and trouble free anything ... I only looking at juiced as some pos stole my haibike months ago and I don't feel like dropping over $5000 on a ebike again ... but I know how to wrench on things myself so a Juiced seems to be my likely replacement as my 50 mile commute to work round trip when I pedal on a regular bike I notice the extra 30 minutes it takes me each way and the inconsistent time I can expect so where I could leave late and just notch up the assist and make up the time when I hit a long flat section where I don't have to worry about pedestrians I will say man ... if you have a wheel doing this you DO NOT KEEP riding on it .. that is a park it scenario ... also with LBS if you just need a wheel true'd I just take the wheel off and give it to them .. any decent place will be able to handle that... if you make them do all the work then yes in peak riding season they are busy ... so hey best learn patience OR get a truing stand and a book and teach yourself ... I not had success learning truing 'yet'
Turns out the rim was bent in shipping which is why the spokes appeared loose (along the dent). Juiced shipped me the entire rear wheel, motor and all. Swapped it on with minimal hassle and it’s working perfectly.
@@hell0all good to hear and I wasn't trying to sound like I was coming down hard ... My lbs guys are excellent and have fixed me up when I was stranded more than once ... So yeah I give all but the worst.od the worst a break... Happy riding 👍 ... That is a drawback of the hub in the rim... You cannot just se d a.wheel it is motor and all ...it's why I enjoyed my middrive so much ...damn post bike thieves can all just .... * Insert your wish here to befall them *....
Contacting Juiced by Phone is the best way. I have the RipRacer and oh my god it's so nice, so far it has been perfrect but for some noisy brakes. There is a breaki-n process for these brakes which I did not follow. If you just jump on it and hit top speed and do a hard brake you are going to have squealing brakes. I think they might sintered rather than organic or ceramic.
I wanted to buy a Juice E bike, but really worried about the many problems that come with it. Shipping, damage to components, and the Customer support that almost 90% are complaining about.
Going into season 2 with it and i have all the issues resolved. That being said it was a bit of a frustrating journey. Tough call for sure. Thanks for watching!
@@hell0all pretty sure you have a 750W motor however? If so I have read somewhere that Juiced has instructions somewhere to unlock higher power / speed.
Have two thousand miles logged on my current x. I have had it since March 2021. I have lost some juice battery performance since I got. Not as snappy but still as fast in the long run.
On this trip I believe I was just using 2 up the last hills. Thats totally due to the low battery situation. Normally sport or race mode will nearly flatten almost any hill around here.
So, I am curious, how does the road bikes felt on gravel? The rip current has 4 in fat tires, but yours has 700CC correct? Any thoughts or reflections on the usability for gravel trails with the stock tires?
This is one of the upgrades from a basic cross current to a cross current x. It’s a better quality tire. I’d call it a hybrid as it has some decent tread on it. I’ve had no trouble on packed gravel trails like this. No flats in 700 miles so far either.
Imho not really a range test of the effectiveness of the battery considering that you were averaging 11mph or so you could almost likely do that alone without the e bike factor, show me 16 mph range or even throttle only , Nice bike though.
I doubt the 11mph was accurate. Sometimes i stopped to film for 2 mins and the trip timer kept running. For those 2 mins i was going 0mph which drops the average mph. Just doing the best I could on a fun trip.
it’s dependent on the mode you use and terrain and rider weight. Many factors. If you ask the bike motor to help you more the range will go down. In eco mode with very little help on a level grade… yep I could see 80 miles being very possible.
DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF LIKE ME! Juiced bikes took my 3500$ and gave me a bike that totally died on me and stayed dead. SUPPORT TEAM ARE LIARS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
could you be a little more specific? I love my bike, Juiced is the Greatest comments or I hate my bike, Juiced Sucks are meaningless without the full story supporting one's Love or Hate experience.
Really would love us to communicate with one another so we can ride. I have purchasing the cross current S2 mine has the 15 amp hour battery which battery do you have some of those are the 19 1/2 just wondering what battery you have please reply thanks

Nice ride. Perhaps get a spare battery and keep it in the back rack till needed?
Thank you for this great video. I was strongly considering buying this bike but I've since CHANGED my mind. Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching.
So what are you going to purchase?
Yeah, what's the alternatives?
Update: Juiced sent me an entire assembled rear wheel (motor and all). It took 2 months but they really made good .
Thanks!!
yep all fenders and racks came with the bike. I just added the saddle bag
Do you live around Easton Pennsylvania? I have a new bike just like the one he’s riding coming in very soon.
Sometimes the tire is out of round, or a cheap inner tube inflated more in one area. I had that issue on a moped with mags. It didn't matter how many times I deflated and reset the bead. The inner tube would always inflate more on one side as I reached pressure. Had to buy a new inner tube.
I got this bike now your blessed to have made it back with two bars trust me I know
All I have is the perspective from the short clip in your video, but that wheel looks bent/dented to me.
@@dpskiff2998 I dont think it has regenerative braking. Although that would be cool!
A few of my spokes arrived basically complete loose or off. I don't have a squeak in the rear wheel but do have a scraping sound. Probably the brakes?
@@phototristan great. New wheel was all good.
Looks like a nice ride - great video.👍 Good to know about Juiced customer service.
Have you ever tried it in "R" mode; supposedly it makes the bike Class 3 (28 mph).
Thanks! Yep i’ve had it on R. It’s quick!
need to true the wheel, take it to your bike shop; yes I have a juiced bike too my battery connectors started melting, keep an eye out for that because it will happen.
I have a new Rip current and the rear break is squealing like crazy. You say change the brake pads??
I appreciate you my guy. Great video.
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
@@hell0all Good points. It also seems a good choice to go with a bafang rear hub motor as diy possibilities are vast.
@@tracyskorka1479 Cadence AND torque sensors too. The assist feels very natural and intuitive.
@@hell0all Hows the bike holding up!?
@@Ktmoney123 Still running great.
I'm looking into Juiced because I live in the San Diego area, and I'd like a local manufacturer. California is going to start subsidizing e-bike purchasing in 2023, but you have to buy from a local seller. So that $750 voucher might not make up for going direct to consumer.
You should consider adding a second battery for greater range. It’s possible the rolling resistance of the canal trail surface lowers your range.
I think you are right. Also, on the way back (upriver) there must be a very gradual incline.
I only looking at juiced as some pos stole my haibike months ago and I don't feel like dropping over $5000 on a ebike again ... but I know how to wrench on things myself so a Juiced seems to be my likely replacement as my 50 mile commute to work round trip when I pedal on a regular bike I notice the extra 30 minutes it takes me each way and the inconsistent time I can expect so where I could leave late and just notch up the assist and make up the time when I hit a long flat section where I don't have to worry about pedestrians
I will say man ... if you have a wheel doing this you DO NOT KEEP riding on it .. that is a park it scenario ... also with LBS if you just need a wheel true'd I just take the wheel off and give it to them .. any decent place will be able to handle that... if you make them do all the work then yes in peak riding season they are busy ... so hey best learn patience OR get a truing stand and a book and teach yourself ...
Happy riding 👍
Thanks for the review. What app are you using? It's hard to read.
Thanks for watching. It’s called map my ride.
@@hell0all Thank you. I've used the running version on PC and Mac, but not the phone app.
Great video, I was wondering what the top speed is when unlocked on flat ground under throttle only. Thanks!
The throttle acts the same in every mode. Cuts out at 20 mph.
@@hell0all pretty sure you have a 750W motor however? If so I have read somewhere that Juiced has instructions somewhere to unlock higher power / speed.
Can you run 2.25” wide tires on the CrossCurrent X?
I’m not sure. Maybe check out the RipCurrent and scale the tires down?
Have two thousand miles logged on my current x. I have had it since March 2021. I have lost some juice battery performance since I got. Not as snappy but still as fast in the long run.
Wow! That is alot of riding. Any maintenance issues?
Which pedal assist level did you use on the hills??
On this trip I believe I was just using 2 up the last hills. Thats totally due to the low battery situation. Normally sport or race mode will nearly flatten almost any hill around here.
@@hell0all thanks.
i have a cross current. it good.
@@hell0all do you know the model and brand?
@@DaDaDanceProject they are the Schwalbe Marathon Plus.
@@hell0all great!
@@hell0all Did you ever tried in loose gravel or trails with a little bit of sand as sometimes happen when riding?
Does it have throttle only?
It has pedal assist (cadence and torque activated) as well as a thumb throttle.

Life is like a traveler carrying a heavy burden on the shoulders. So don't rush.
Juiced website claims 80+ miles, why weren't you able to get this? Are they lying or do you have a smaller battery or something?
it’s dependent on the mode you use and terrain and rider weight. Many factors. If you ask the bike motor to help you more the range will go down. In eco mode with very little help on a level grade… yep I could see 80 miles being very possible.
Did you know there is a race mode and you can even adjust your top speed lol
Yep, its awesome!
What’s the nm? Torque?
Sorry, not sure what you mean.
80 Nm Peak torque

Nope....wheel wobble alone is a huge deal killer for me and then the fact the customer support is lacking...no thank you.
