Italians use a DRIZZLE lol of extra virgin olive oil ITALIAN brand lol and some SEA SALT sprinkle it on top and scoop that Gelato with the drizzle and sea salt it’s YUM!

We can most definitely get high quality olive oil here in America. My bf and I order some online, it comes in glass and it smells and tastes different from anything else, it's not cheap either but it's worth it. This great value walmart stuff is crap though, and a lot in the grocery stores sucks too. You have to go looking for the good stuff for sure!
Olive oil on ice cream is amazing when you use high quality ingredients, intended for that purpose. French vanilla might not taste good with it either. Not sure if it was french vanilla or not. Just looked kinda yellowy.

They put a lot of fillers in what we buy at the grocery stores- it’s Not pure even if it says it’s 100% because if u look at the label to see the distributor it will most likely show more than one distributor and that’s Not what u want. U want 100% EVOO with only One ☝️ distributor
