- We have got brand new e-bikes to help us around the hills in Cornwall and our holidays. Unfortunately, one of us has a slight accident in the 1st few days of owning them!

Ebikes are a big step up from a normal bike and you will certainly get used to them and really start to enjoy them.
We do have a lot of hills here in Cornwall and especially some really steep hills and these bikes will handle them with ease.
Good dealer support is essential as you will have so many questions when you start off.

I've thankfully not fallen off since our 1st trip! We bought them from a local dealer who was very helpful when we had them serviced.
I ordered the same bike from my local dealer. Should arrive next week. Same age and experience as both of you. Nice town to ride in. Hope you build wonderful memories together with your new healthy pastime. Cheers
They are great bikes - you will love it. So far, all of our rides have been on roads or gravel tracks and we have not yet been brave enough to try anything more adventurous!

Nice bikes - can highly recommend getting some padded cycling shorts for additional saddle comfort

I am getting one of these next weekend everything going to plan, will mostly use it for riding to work and some weekend adventures.
I hope that you enjoy your bike as much as we do. For us they have made an incredible difference in that we can visit places that we never would be able to on push-bikes.

We're really pleased with them. We haven't been out on them recently because of the weather but are hoping to do a cycle in the next few weeks - watch this space!!
We recently changed to electric bikes. We have Carrera crossfuse bikes. We bought them as they have bosch motors, removable batteries and suspension, but are a lot lighter than most. We used them extensible in Spain this year, especially on the via verdes. We have an Altera towbar mounted bike rack, which is great. I am sure you will soon get used to the motors, gears and brakes!
We are really pleased with our bikes - it made our holiday in France so much better. Once we had parked up, they meant that we didn't move the campervan until we moved on.
We borrowed 2 e-bikes whilst on holiday, I have never been so freightened. Not for me I'm afraid. 🎉🎉
After my 1st little incident, I've been a lot more careful and, touch wood, I've not fallen off again!!!
