She had to think quickly and quietly replaced the ailing Dayan, a national hero, without telling the Israeli public for fear of discouraging them during their darkest hour. Still, Israeli troops were pushed back and survival of the nation was not assured. As a precaution, she ordered cyanide pills from the army in case she was captured by the enemy. She was not going to be taken alive.
Thank you for this video. I really didn't know who she really was. What she really fight for. Where she really came from.
God bless Her
NAJLEPSZA NAJMĄDRZEJSZA KOBIETA ŚWIATA GOLDA MEIR WAS PREMIER O WIELKIM SERCU❤️🇮🇱🇺🇦🇵🇱🇱🇷
I remember her. I thought she was Amayzing and wise.
Golda⚡⚖️💙like you might say the heart beat of the Nation.
my sister who graduated in university of Kiev in 1972 always talked about her Jewish freinds in Kiev..she was biochemist. my sister died in Moscow while finishing her PhD. in 1985 she was 35
Remarkable Woman!!
She was a great patriot but her story is conflicted. She sacrificed her marriage and parenting. Most importantly she is blamed for not mobilizing the army sooner when she knew the war was to start on Yom Kippur.I have read that she did not preemptively strike first because of Kissinger’s threats not to help.Over 2300 soldiers were killed, including my cousin,as a result. We all know she suffered greatly as a result but this is cold comfort to everyone who lost a son or brother.
I'm so sorry to hear that happened to your cousin. You're right that she, as many dedicated leaders do, had to sacrifice much and sometimes made the wrong decisions with dire consquences
What an amazing woman, may she rest in eternal peace.
shes the best.
Damn good summary for 11:00. I can't wait for the movie.
Remarkable woman
I don't know if I missed, but she was also ambassto Israel in Moscow
It was Democrat President Harry S. Truman who chose to recognize the independence of Palestine as The State of Israel 🇮🇱 and this was above the objections of the Joint Chiefs. He was the LAST Democrat with any integrity and any sense of moral and ethical duty.
What is it about being a Jew that throws up these extraordinary people. ?

Should have said, “from Kiev”…..her experiences there, under the violence visited on Jewish people at the hands of Cossacks, molded her motivation n determination ….brilliant woman

All praise to Almighty God ; O Africa where is your love for who you are , and your people . Almighty God choose us as a people unto himself as the apple of his eyes and gave to us this earth , and said go be fruitful and multiply. We did that ; but we also aloud disunity to come among us . It seek for tile ground and found it ,and grow uncheck . This disunity was aloud to spread with our help ; we gave up Almighty God for the Governance of man and we have lost our way. There is one Almighty God and no other we must give praise to him and no other. All praise to Almighty God amen .
